My brother goes to Thistleknowe for respite care. He likes going there and has a good relationship with all the staff. On visiting, I find the home to have a pleasant welcoming atmosphere and all staff I have spoken to are helpful and friendly. Please note - I have been unable to give an accurate rating
for activities, as a temporary resident he is not really involved. So far as I can gather there have been occasions when activities were available but he chose not to participate.

My mum is a resident at Thistleknowe, she's been there since April 2015. I have peace of mind knowing she is well cared for by the staff. Her room is spotless. I have joined my mum for meals which are always well prepared. They encourage my mum to do things for herself. I would highly recommend this
care home to anybody looking for a care home.
