The Trust has recently invested again in refreshing Glencairn House to ensure the continued comfort of the Residents who live within the Home. The environment is traditional in keeping with the wonderful building and also in a manner that speaks to the needs of the residents which is the most important aspect of any setting.
As a Trust there are plans to establish further services to meet the needs of the community as the covenant decrees, this will ensure the services evolve with the ever changing needs of the people the Trust was established to serve.

Colin McBurnie is the General Manager at Glencairn House (Mailler & Whitelaw Trust). Colin has decades of experience within the Care Home Sector and came to the Trust initially as an Independent Consultant.After spending several months engaging with the Care Home, Residents and Staff, Colin decided to stay and make Glencairn House his work Home.
Colin explained to the Trustees that he had fallen in love with the Care Home and the setting, nestled in the Perthshire Countryside.
Colin is focused on making Glencairn House the prime Residential Care Home in the area. To achieve this, the ethos of the Care Home is "Residents First".
