Overall Experience
My mum had a recent stay in Cranley Lodge and the care and attention she was given by every member of staff was outstanding. The home was spotless, with residents rooms and laundry cleaned on a daily basis.
The staff were amazing, always willing to answer queries or questions with a smile, even during busy times.
The team worked with us as a family to find the best way to meet my mum's needs and communicated regularly with updates.

I would highly recommend Cranley Lodge and would like to thank the manager, Elaine, and the team for their warm, caring and respectful approach in caring for my mum.

Overall Experience

Cranley Lodge is an exceptional place of care, comfort, and genuine humanity. The staff are extremely diligent, friendly, and kind, with a great sense of humour that brings lightness to even difficult days. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed, supported, and reassured your loved one is in safe hands. My mother was always treated with respect, compassion, and patience, and I never had a single issue with the fantastic team committed to her wellbeing. Gillian on reception gives the warmest daily welcome, and manager Elaine always finds time to greet you, even with such a heavy workload. You're encouraged to ask questions or discuss anything, which truly helps when caring for an elderly parent. I only moved Mum due to her increasing falls and need for nursing care. I highly recommend Cranley Lodge with complete confidence and heartfelt reassurance. They are remarkable team who treat residents and families with the dignity and kindness in very challenging circumstances. Thank You

My mother had been in Cranley Lodge care home for 2 years and during that time we have been extremely impressed with the care and genuine kindness of all the staff The care she was given was exceptional and all the members of staff had great patience and always had a smile on their faces, with an offer of a cup of tea and a biscuit
She was treated with the upmost respect and everyone always took time to chat to her
The food was freshly prepared each day on site and she always seemed to have a plate of something delicious in front of her
The home itself was very comfortable and always welcoming with a lovely atmosphere. We as a family are so grateful for the compassion and dedication of all the staff
Karen and I would like to thank Elaine and all the staff for the wonderful care they have given Dorothy. We would not hesitate to recommend Cranley Care home
Thank you

Robert.

My mum has lived in Cranley following her deteriorating dementia. She was very well cared for and supported with individualised care and lots of patience. The staff know her personality well and her trigger points and are always very respectful of this. They provide excellent care with a personal touch getting to know her extended family also.

Thank you for all you did for mum.

Overall Experience
My daughter and I had visited many care homes trying to find a suitable residence for my brother, who is suffering from dementia. We were incredibly fortunate to find Cranley Lodge. This care home is a jewel in the crown of dementia care. From the moment I moved my brother in I knew we had found the right place. Staff are absolutely amazing, so caring and respectful. My brother had not been able to care for himself properly and staff worked with him with patience and humor to ensure that his personal hygiene was taking care off and he was always well presented. A hairdresser and chiropodist visit Cranley regularly which helped greatly with grooming. The food is fabulous. Freshly prepared and served piping hot and delicious every time. Staff buzz around speaking with everyone including visitors, which creates a relaxed but organised homely atmosphere. Unfortunately my brother has to move to a nursing home, but his time at Cranley Lodge has been

a positive experience.

Our dad was a resident of Cranley Lodge for four years. During this time, our family have always felt reassured that all his needs were being met. The food was always freshly cooked, and Dad certainly enjoyed it. There is a lovely family feeling, and the staff could not have been better. We very much appreciate the excellent care Cranley Lodge provided for him.

Cranley has been a kind and very friendly place for our mother. On the death of our father we found that he had been covering for her dementia and Mum was unable to look after herself safely. Cranley has been very welcoming and caring and we feel very grateful that she is so well looked after. The food is freshly cooked and more than plentiful and in the many times that we have been in we have noticed that the residents are well supervised, they are treated with respect and there is a happy atmosphere. It will never be Mum's own home, but it is a very good substitute.

Overall Experience

Cranley Lodge Care Home is a community that exists to care for and look after those who cannot manage it themselves due to dementia..it’s a place where residents thrive in a loving and very caring environment. Our family were blessed to know that Mum was part of what was described above and for three and a half years enjoyed a wonderful time. We can only praise the team for all their dedication and hard work as well as the care, love and attention they showed Mum during her time there. If you are researching a place I can confidently recommend Cranley because of our experiences. Above and beyond cannot tell half the story of the staff…wonderful people.
