Great support with Mum, she loves it here and it feels like home for her. I'm very happy with the care she is given. The activities are great and there is good communication to family members as to what is going on on a weekly basis. Staff are all very helpful and attentive to mum's needs.

Access to the home is difficult due to unmade up road. Age of the building brings its own constraints but the best use of what is available has been made. Staff are warm, welcoming and sensitive to the needs of residents. At times more staff would help give residents more time 1 to 1. Activities are varied and residents are able to and encouraged to join in. The home feels very secure and access to the large garden has recently been made safer with fencing and changes to landscaping. Nursing staff are excellent and well informed. Staff training appears to be improving and an excellent recruitment plan seems to be working well.

It was my mum's first time in respite and the staff at Chase House, without exception, were wonderful with her - patient, kind, understanding and priding themselves on very personalised care. They all did everything possible to ease her (and my) anxiety and to ensure she had the most positive experience possible. The support offered by Matron and her team in arranging a quick admission, sorting out transport and generally offering advice and emotional support was amazing. I couldn't recommend the team here highly enough.
