Eastfield Nursing Home

I find the care home very warm and welcoming staff are fantastic management are excellent highly recommend resistance are very friendly i have found it very calming environment my wife finds it very pleasant for her

My Dad initially went to Eastfield under the NHS Discharge to Assess scheme 2 years ago, but unfortunately was not well enough to return to independent living. Having then researched a number of homes in the area we found that the care he was getting at Eastfield was a high standard and the home is set in a lovely location so decided he was best staying there. Whenever I visit, the staff are very welcoming and my Dad always appears smartly dressed and cared for. The home has recently come under new management who seem to have made some positive improvements to some aspects of the home (e.g admin/ entry & exit systems) but so far from what I can see have maintained the 'feel' of the home and stability of the staff team working there.

Finally - pets! Most residents seem to 'come to life' when a visitor brings one along. Perhaps a weekly 'pet therapy' session?

His birthday was an especially happy time for him as they produced a cake and a lusty rendition of Happy Birthday!

Our mother was at Eastfield for 5 months, initially with delerium which we hoped would resolve but due to various complications after having a pacemaker fitted she never fully recovered and over time she deteriorated until her death. From the first day she went to Eastfield she was made welcome and she joined in with the activities, mum was always treated kindly by all of the staff who are all very diligent and professional. Our whole family were treated with kindness and compassion we were kept informed of any changes in mum and her medical treatment, with her personal care mum was always treated with dignity, on mums final day the staff were amazing, and we held her hands until she passed. Our opinion is she couldnt have been in a nicer care home.

Our mum came into Eastfield Nursing Home at the end of January. Every member of staff were loving, caring and considerate, they treated mum with the utmost care and dignity right up until she passed away. Mum and my sisters and myself were cared for as though we were family. Shylor & Manish were exceptional the nursing team, care staff, activities, caterers, cleaning, receptionists and anyone I may have missed, in my opinion should be commended for their outstanding work I have worked in the industry for many years and never had the privilage to work for an excellent home as this.

We are very happy with the care our uncle receives at Eastfield Nursing Home. The staff are kind, caring, and always treat him with dignity and respect. It gives our family great peace of mind knowing he is so well looked after. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

My wife was taken ill when my family and I visited several nursing homes that would cater for her needs. We selected Eastfield as it had a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of activities. My wife has been in Eastfield for one year and we do not regret our choices for the care and support she receives.
