However, in my opinion, The Regency is a fine care home with many more positives than negatives. I feel that Monica and her team are doing, overall, a very fine job. The care and compassion shown by all is very evident. I would like to highlight 'activities' among the excellent ratings. Thank you, Hayley, exceptional caring professionalism!. Finally, the Regency site, opposite Canoe Lake, has to be the finest in the city.

My family and I have found Regency Nursing Home to be an excellent home for my mum. The home itself is in an enviable position opposite Canoe Lake and Southsea seafront, making trips out easy and hassle free.

My family and I have found Regency Nursing Home to be an excellent home for my mum. The home itself is in an enviable position opposite Canoe Lake and Southsea seafront, making trips out easy and hassle free. Inside the home, the rooms are large and bright and sunny, especially the lounge which has a view over the lake. The staff are very kind and welcoming and you can see that they genuinely care for the residents. Because of the staff, the home has a warm, happy and homely feeling to it. They provide regular accessible activities for the residents to join in together with their friends and families on occasions. The residents are encouraged to go outside into the patio garden at the back and are given the opportunity for outings with the staff. The food is good on the whole and they try to accommodate individual likes and dislikes as far as possible.
We were thrilled that there was a space here for mum when she needed one and delighted with the care she received.
