Dear Rachel,Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the care your father experienced recently at St Luke's Hospital. It is really useful for the team to have feedback. I will pass on the matter regarding the room temperature to the team to look into this. We hope he is continuing to do well post operation. Best wishes from us all.
The care home was immaculate, well equipped, but comfortable. The food was tasty, varied and mealtimes much anticipated! The beautiful garden was a joy to visit when I was able to do so. Having been too unwell in hospital to start physio, I was keen to take advantage of St Luke's in house services. These quite literally got me back on my feet. My physio, was encouraging, always sufficiently challenging, helping me to move forward in my recovery. By the end of the week I felt confident to return home and start to resume daily life. Thank you to Matron and her team.

Thank you so much for leaving a review regarding the care of your Aunt. It is such a privilege for us to look after people in the later part of their life, helping to meeting their needs and ensure that they enjoy a really good quality of life. The team at St Luke's often comment that residents become like family to the staff. It's such a pleasure to be part of their lives.
Dear Ms Y, Very many thanks for the review, and our best wishes for the future. Kind regards, Matron
Thank you very much for taking the time to submit a review regarding your Mum's stay. We appreciate the feedback; I have looked into the matters you have raised. I can see from our records that your mother was assessed by our physiotherapist and no suggestions of alternative chair and/or seating requirements were raised. Routinely we instruct our physiotherapy team to assess the patient for use of footrest. Some patients are recommended to rest on their bed with elevated lower legs instead. We have dining facilities available and I'm sorry that we did not offer those at the time. We serve our patients and residents with a cup of soup from 5 pm and supper from 5.30 pm. Night staff offer a refreshment during the round. I understand your mother was able to drink independently and there were no concerns regarding her oral intake. Our records show that only twice did she accept a drink from the night staff. We appreciate the feedback review and we are sorry for those issues shared.
Thank you Tom. It was a privilege to care for your friend and family. Everyone should have a friend like you.

Thank you so much for your review. Your father was a lovely man and will be remembered fondly by us all.
Many thanks indeed for sharing the review. We regret the disappointment as we always strive to deliver high standards and outstanding service.
In respect of your auntie's discharge, we have followed up guidance from members of family. We were instructed to assist your auntie in a taxi only, as a member of her family was waiting for her at home.
