My mother was welcomed into Arundel Park Lodge in January 2025 and is still residing. It is always a little daunting when choosing a nursing home as to if you have made the right choice as mum has complex needs and had been mainly in hospitals for the 6 months leading up to this. But, I knew I had made the right choice when the Manager visited mum in hospital to assess her and she thought it was me! The manager here is amazing, she is the most proficent, compassionate, kindest person I have come accross and nothing is ever too much trouble. Any issues raised are quickly dealt with efficently and promptly. She holds regular meetings with her staff and outside agencies regarding my mothers well being and is always thinking ahead. The staff here are so caring and make everyone feel special (even me). The food is freshly cooked every day, lots of choice and the cakes are to die for! Housekeeping keep everything immaculate and the activity ladies are the best. Thank you guys!

My mum is very happy at Arundel Park Lodge which means we are happy. I can't praise the staff enough for their patience and care. Mum is able to stay as independent as possible. She doesn't have the worry about medicines and what to eat/cook as this is so well catered for. If ever there has been an issue the staff have dealt with the situation promptly and professionally and are so very kind. Also, everyone is conscious of maintaining her dignity along with independence.

My uncle has been a resident since the end of 2024, every time I have visited my uncle the staff has been very polite. Due to my uncle's nursing needs he spends most of his time in his room however this is his personal choice. My uncle was complimentary about the food and always good activities on. My uncle is very happy there.

Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated. The team work hard in meeting individuals' needs and respects personal choice in accessing activities and social events within the home. The team ensure all residents are informed of what is happening within the home and encourages everyone to join in, but respect wishes and preferences if group activities are not a resident's choice.

My husband is very content here. His medical condition required 24-hour care now, so sometimes the staff are under a lot of pressure to fulfil all his care needs due to the fact that his ability and level of awareness are very variable. He also chokes easily and is prone to falls because he is very restless and his mobility and balance is also variable. The staff are very kind and capable and he is lucky to be here in this lovely home.

My Mum has been a resident here for 11 months and has a lovely room with an en suite and lovely big windows. She enjoys sitting in the lounge chatting to the staff and other residents, playing various games and quizzes. I regularly take her for a stroll along the undercliff and into Rottingdean. The staff are very warm, kind, full of humour and are very attentive. It feels like a home full of happiness and friendly faces. The staff will immediately notify me of any changes to my Mum's health from a cough to a toothache. They are very caring and efficient. Highly recommended.

My mum is loved, cuddled, and kissed daily by the staff at Arundel Park Lodge nursing home. She is much happier since she began living there two years ago because she feels safe, secure and has many people to talk to. My Dad visits her each day for about three hours a day, eating meals with her. The manager has been incredibly welcoming to my Dad and Arundel Park Lodge has almost become his second home. Staff that I meet have worked at the home for years, which I believe is an indication that it is well managed and a good place to work.

I moved my mother from another care home where she'd been for about 6 years, as it closed. My mum is at the stage where she's in bed all the time and I was very nervous about the move. Arundel Park Lodge have been nothing but truly wonderful. They made the move so easy. The staff have been absolutely excellent with every aspect of mum's care. I feel totally happy in every way. I can't thank them enough. Special thanks to the manager and 3 other staff. Amazing.
