Butterfly House

My mum is in this care home presently, 3rd one for her and I must say is the best one, everyone is very caring and supportive for both resident and family, they do great things and go out on regular basis with the residents, would highly recommend

My experience of butterfly house is outstanding the care provided to my loved one is fantastic, she is cared for to the highest standard and there are always plenty for the Residents to do and I'm so very grateful that my loved one lives there

The annual summer party for family friends and residents. The weather treated us kindly. We were fed and watered with tasteful food and BBQ. Entertaining musician who kept the residents' attention with popular songs of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's and had some dancing! The staff who arranged it all deserved the utmost praise and their attentiveness to the residents from every member of the care team was excellent. Everyone worked very hard to make sure we had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and it was definitely first class. This care home values their residents highly and does not easily forget them although some are not with us now. We are very happy to recommend this home as they offer a first class service with fantastic surroundings.

What a fantastic house we have sent my dad for respite, all staff and managers are so friendly towards him and the family, we were invited to the bbq party July 16th and the effort the staff put in to it was unbelievable, the food and entertainment was fantastic and seeing the residents smiling and enjoying their self was priceless, thank you all for all you do, you should all be so proud of yourselves for all the care you give to all the residents, thank you so much

My husband was moved from hospital to Butterfly House following a nasty dose of COVID and pneumonia. The staff were lovely and very patient with him. They looked after him really well and also kept me informed of his progress. They were very kind to me, all of them from the cook to the clinical lead nurse. They always called my husband by his name and were very respectful.

I feel confident and happy that my Dad is being cared for by staff who really care and take enormous pride in their role. Thank you.

Butterfly House is a lovely home, suited perfectly to the needs of those with dementia. My dad has a rare type of dementia and is a lot younger than a typical dementia resident and the home have been amazing with him and he has slotted right into the dynamic of the home. The staff are friendly and caring and they offer so much more than the usual activities you’d typically expect from most care homes. My dad is happy and safe and Butterfly House allows us to feel relaxed with our dad's care.

My 94-year-old Mother resided with Butterfly House for 6 weeks respite after being in hospital. Having arrived with very weak legs and unable to get up out of the chair, she can now walk with her walker and get up from a chair. We all found the staff to be very helpful with a family attitude. They were always available to answer any questions I had about her care either in person or by email. I would not hesitate in recommending the home to others.
