Ilsham Valley Nursing Home offers 24-hour nursing, residential, intermediate and respite care for up to 23 residents.

The Home also has CCTV installed around the building to safeguard residents and all external fire exits are alarmed.

They offer a warm, friendly and caring environment and the aim is to provide a high standard of person-centred care that enables residents to develop and maintain their independence and dignity as much as possible. Each room is tastefully decorated to a high standard and most rooms have electric profiling beds and are fully furnished with wash basins, colour TVs and a nurse call system. A number of bedrooms also have en-suite facilities.

The Home even boasts its own DVD library with portable DVD players for residents to use in the comfort of their own rooms.

The Home has a dedicated activities co-ordinator with activities planned a month in advance.

Meals are varied and nutritionally balanced using only the finest locally sourced produce where possible.

Residents are able to relax in the lounge, watch television, read or just enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the Home has to offer.

Mum was at Isham Valley for nearly 11 years, everyone was very kind and genuinely gave mum lots of love and support. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nursing home for a loved one.

We have never seen our father so happy in recent years. Each visit he is more and more relaxed. The staff are always helpful + have formed such a good relationship with him. Over the years he has been in 3 homes. This is the best. The room full of items is more like a bedroom than a hospital. We like
the number and choice of outdoor spaces for him to sit in. He likes the food and we like the tea!

From the minute we came to the home to review it we had a good feel about the place. Homely with a real friendly greeting from all the staff definitely the right place for my mum to live. We were not disappointed. The love and care shown to my mum was second to none from the manager to the nurses, carers,
cooks, cleaners and maintenance man, all were superb. In the final days of my mums life she and we were treated with love and dignity. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The home was immaculate. The Managers, Health Professionals and staff were marvellous, attentive and caring. The home is in a beautiful setting, and it was calm and peaceful. Thank you, you made my mum's last days as best as possible.

My dad was cared for so well, with incredible compassion and good humour. I cannot thank the team enough. The home feels welcoming, is clean, and the staff are really friendly and thoughtful. The manager is kind, approachable and helpful.
Dad couldn't do any activities so I've put don't know. Similarly
his care was paid for so I can't rate value for money but I recommend the home without reservation.

My mum was looked after as if it was me, the care that was given was outstanding and she was treated with respect and kindness, the carers were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, and was always treated with dignity. I was always kept informed of mum's care and was able to be with her as she passed.
It was run by a dedicated team. I would have no problems recommending this nursing home to other people.

My mum moved into Ilsham Valley nearly five years ago. On first meeting the manager, I was instantly put at ease. The staff are extremely friendly, very caring and supportive. They genuinely care for all residents living there.
When I visit Ilsham valley everyone is always very welcoming and nothing
is too much trouble. Ilsham Valley is like living with a family home from home.

We have visited a few times since lockdown and found systems in progress to be followed to the letter due to the Covid Pandemic. As we arrived today safety fire measures were being demonstrated to a member of staff which was very encouraging to know procedures were in place for evacuation if necessary.
My 97 year old aunt was admitted summer 2020 needing 24/7 nursing and personal care. She settled down extremely well although devastated to have to sell her home to fund her care. The love and care given has been second to none by the well led team. Lovely home cooked food and great entertainment.

Lovely atmosphere; staff all very kind, considerate and caring. Nothing was too much trouble to help my father settle in; he loves the home cooking; especially the puddings! My dad was transferred to Ilsham Valley after a spell in hospital when it was clear he would not be able to return to the family home.
Everyone was very supportive during this transition, always taking the time to answer any questions we might have.
The staff are superb, kind, supportive and caring,
and always make us feel welcome when we come to visit. My dad really couldn't be in a better place. The food is of a high standard, his room is always clean, fresh and at a comfortable temperature.
Originally we worried about my dad moving into a home. At Ilsham Valley we know he is safe, comfortable and very well looked after. We don't worry anymore. Thank you all so much!
