Overall good experience. An observation rather than a criticism - My brother is considerably younger than most of the other residents, and more able to communicate more freely. Many are fairly non-communicative. Although he is not by nature a mixer, he is rather isolated by this fact. The staff, good as they are, cannot devote more of their time to hum but he needs more mental stimulation. The rooms are fine - I guess it is up to individuals, within reason, to add 'touches'. All care is expensive.

Mum turned 90 a few months ago and the staff arranged a huge cake and all sang happy birthday which mum absolutely loved ! The leadership at Aldbourne keep my sisters and I well appraised of any potential issues. We are all very happy that mum is staying at Aldbourne Nursing Home !
