Lovely to finally find a care home that CARES. Staff are always welcoming, walk in appointment no waiting or form filling in required. Lots of trips and events through the yea led by the manager and staff, you can really tell that someone is committed to the wellbeing of the residents.

The staff were so friendly, kind, helpful and caring. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they always made us very welcome. It really felt like a "home" and I think that was mainly down to the staff and the fact there was only 24 individual rooms. My name is Lorraine Holt, and I am the Registered Manager at St Martins. I am passionate about delivering high-quality care in a warm and homely environment. I am a Registered General Nurse with over 25 years of experience. I trained at the University of Central England, Birmingham and initially worked within the NHS as a District Nurse at James Preston Health Centre. I moved to St Martin's, initially as Deputy Nurse Manager and then as Nurse Manager in 2004.
The care home lists weekly fees per person between £1,425 and £1,495 for nursing care (respite between £1,425 and £1,495) and between £1,425 and £1,495 for nursing dementia care (respite between £1,425 and £1,495).
