My brother was transferred here for end of life care, the manager who assessed him said that he would get appropriate palliative care. I don't believe that the staff were well informed by the manager about his general condition. Thankfully he was only here for 16 days and during that time the manager made no attempt to speak with me. The staff I did liase with were kind but I feel the home was fine for general elderly care but not for palliative care.

My dad was resident at Severn Heights for 8 months, from the moment he arrived, he, and all of the family and his friends, were treated with the greatest care and respect. The staff and management were always available and willing to deal with any needs or concerns. There is a real community feel at SH, great effort is made to engage the residents and create a family atmosphere. There is regular entertainment, and the parties for Halloween, Christmas etc, were wonderful, well organised with music and dance. The medical team are excellent, closely monitoring and dealing with any issues that arise. This is a well-run, clean and safe environment, with excellent and plentiful food, which, to my dad was most important. All in all, it was a wonderful place for my dad to finish his days. Thank you Severn Heights.

My mum came into this care home in March 2022. The staff are very kind and caring. Open visiting. Any concerns or questions, the management are very helpful, listens and act on any concerns immediately. Always keep me informed. A family atmosphere, a beautiful setting and very clean. Mum is a very gentle, loving person, and the staff treat her with kindness and gentleness, reassuring her.

I have alwats found every member of staff helpful and considerate whenever I have had to ask anything. I feel confident that my mother is very well cared for and treated with dignity. She has frequently commented on how lovely and friendly the staff are and how nice the food is.

I can fully recommend Severn Heights for the excellent care given to my mother-in-law. The management and staff always listen to me and would always contact me if they have any concerns. Although Mom is of a great age (98), I know her mobility is getting worse. It is because of the care she is receiving that she is still with us.

As a family, we can't praise the service provided high enough. The staff were professional and caring, always making my mother and the family feel welcome and well cared for.
My mother felt safe and happy and always said how much she liked the staff and how nice they all were.

The entertainment provided was enjoyed, especially the Jubilee celebrations, which gave my mother the chance to spend time with all the family one last time. Would highly recommend Severn Heights Nursing Home.

Why are you still advertising your nursing home as Covid free? You know and I know this is not the case. Your home has had an outbreak of Covid and it’s shocking to see that you are saying that your homes remain Covid free. Please can you update your websites.

On the plus side, the staff at Severn Heights were all friendly, kind and helpful to my mother when she was sent to Severn Heights by the council after discharge from the hospital. They helped her to recover from a broken foot and managed her confusion well.
But, when we raised a significant concern with the owner, my wife and I were contacted by a rude and combative corporate manager (not at the home) who accused us of lying (whilst pretty well shouting down the phone at my wife) who went on to produce untrue 'statements' contradicting what we had seen with our own eyes, then arbitrarily shut the so-called 'investigation'. We found this really shocking.

Add to that my mother being accommodated in a characterless cell-like room with no view, and the crumbling frontage to the older part of the premises, and I cannot recommend this care company - which is a pity given the goodness of the people who provide the actual service.

We are glad that you found the staff friendly, kind and helpful. We dealt with your complaint as speedily as possible and our investigation found that your complaint was unsupported on the evidence of the staff who were present at the time. Our conclusions were shared with the Local Authority and...
