Thank you very much for your review which really is most appreciated.
Thank you so much for your review which is most appreciated - regarding visiting arrangements we are constrained by Government guidance which we hope will progressively ease and allow us to get back to 'normal' (pre-pandemic) visits when Parkhouse had throughout every day, many many visitors. Also, with the better weather, I hope you can take advantage of the gardens and summerhouse to spend time with your husband outdoors.
Many thanks for your kind review which is much appreciated. Our Covid-19 secure visiting facility is of course still open and we are as always following Government guidelines and have been facilitating face to face visits since the guidance permitted those. We look forward to welcoming you to Parkhouse in the very near future
Many thanks for your generous review. I will pass it on to the staff team who I know will be so pleased that their unceasing efforts are so much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you again in person as soon as our Covid-19 safe relatives' meeting room is built later this month.
Dear Ingrid - thank you so much for your lovely review, your father really does seem to be thriving. I am sure the staff team will be delighted to get your feedback. Thanks again.
Thank you for your kind review, which I will forward to the staff. It will mean so much to them. Thanks again.
I visited every week and found the home to be cheerful, bright and clean and always smelling sweet. It is an old building in part and beautifully decorated and furnished.
My Dad had his own place in the sitting room where he could 'keep an eye on everyone'. His bedroom was small but beautifully formed, cosy might describe it better. It was always clean and made homely by a few of his personal things around him.
Throughout his stay, he was under the impression he was in a hotel and treated the staff accordingly. He was treated with respect and dignity even though he was a cantankerous old man.
He lived until a few days short of his 98th Birthday and that was mainly thanks to the love and care of the staff, to whom I will always be grateful for making his last years happy.
I miss my visits to the home and seeing the wonderful staff there.

we have two beds available for residents who have dementia and who need the best possible nursing care in the region
I have worked in Social Care for 37 years and have vast experience of working with people who live with a learning difficulty and with people who live with dementia. I am a qualified Social Worker and Practice Teacher and have recently completed my Level 5 Certificate in Leadership.
My experience includes working in the field as well as managing various services such as day centres, residential care homes, high dependency teams and I have currently been the Registered Manager at Park House Nursing Home for the past 3 years.
I am committed to offering the best possible, person-centred, service to the people who live at Park House and strive continually to improve on this.
I have been a Registered Nurse for just over ten years and continue to be very passionate about my role. I trained as a Registered Nurse in Romania and initially gained experience in Intensive Care and Liver Transplant.
After four years, I decided I needed a change and came to England, where I started working at Park House Nursing Home. Since then, I have been working alongside a great team and continue to be very motivated and have worked hard to develop my role. I now hold the position of Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead.
I am a firm believer in keeping my role updated and as well as training through the care home, which is relevant to all aspects of my work, I have also been in a Preceptorship Training Programme at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust doing days of study for Sepsis, Tissue Viability and many other relevant topics. I am always active within the learning process as I think this is very important when you want to deliver the best care.
