Roman Wharf Care Home

My Grandad has been in this home for a few months now. It is a brilliant home, he is very happy and settled here and the staff are lovely and friendly. It is always clean and welcoming when we visit and the residents all seem happy and well cared for.

Very good service, very attentive to the needs of my mother. Always everybody has a smile, which is great. They even put an aerial in the room.

Our experience of Roman Wharf Care Home is very good. The care from all the staff, whatever their status in the home, is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is always clean no matter what time of the day I visit. They have a menu choice for every meal so that's a bonus. The ethos of Roman Wharf is that it is the residents' home and the staff just work here.

My aunty was very well looked after. The rooms are nice. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Always had a friendly welcome. The food is good, good entertainment, no smell. Would definitely recommend Roman Wharf.

My mother's needs have always been attended to and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I requested a taxi to be organized to transport my mother home and the care home manager told me it would be done and agreed the timing. Carers were waiting for her return but she never turned up. My father called and they claimed they knew nothing about the plans, no apologies or support was offered. We have incurred costs and wasted time of other professionals due to the lack of professionalism at the home.

Just in the process of finding a care home for my Mum, not an easy or pleasant thing to be doing. Visited Roman Wharf yesterday (no appointment necessary). Had over an hour there with the Manager, couldn't have been more helpful, open, and friendly. Very upfront, honest and understanding. Very impressed with the positive outlook for all residents and the goals going forward. Roman Wharf is certainly top of my list.

While her needs changed during her stay, you were always ahead of the game, and we were relieved to feel confident that she was being so well looked after. The staff were really lovely. We know she couldn't have received better care and attention.
