Beverley Grange Nursing Home

The residents are encouraged to participate in activities. The activities seem to be enjoyed by most of the residents and are age appropriate. Staff are cheerful and encouraging, assisting those who reticent to eat or perform basic personal care routines.

The carers at Beverley Grange have worked so hard to establish a warm relationship with Mum and when I visit I am always so happy to see really positive interactions between mum and the staff. The carers have lots of patience for mum and what her condition means, and they really know her needs. She is always well presented when we visit which means a lot as mum can't do any personal care by herself. It feels like Mum is treated like family.

The staff are kind, courteous + caring communication excellent.

I am extremely pleased with the compassionate, caring and supportive manner in which Beverley Grange are looking after my wife. Also the degree of encouragement she receives to gently partake in a host of activities is a significant bonus.

The staff are approachable and have a good knowledge of mums needs and issues. They are very kind and caring. I have witnessed staff interacting with other residents, all of who are treated with kindness and understanding.

When my mum fist moved to Beverley grange she was only expected to live for 3 months and was in very poor health but because of the care of the staff her health has greatly improved and her life expectancy has increased dramatically, she is very comfortable and loves the staff

During her stay she has gained strength, and become used to the routine. Staff members have become familiar faces and are getting to know mum better. Intervention by the CMHT visiting mum at the home has been invaluable too, in treating her anxiety issues as an outpatient.I feel confident of my mum's safety and care at this home.

The residents have access to a hairdresser, chiropodist, dentist and optician.

When I visted my dad - who is loved, happy and cared for at the home, I witnessed a moment to treasure, that sums up a good home. I walked past a room where another carer was sat feeding a resident. He was treating her as though she was his relative, giving her all his attention. It was beautiful. He didn't realise he could be seen. Its just the way he and others are with the residents.

The short few weeks of my stay in one of your assisted-living bungalows significantly contributed to the overall success of my recovery. Staff really were very kind and supportive.

My father was recently in hospital and 3 of the doctors commented how well moisturised and good his skin was. The A + E consultant said he felt it was sign of a good care home. One of the staff nurses was seeing him and commented on how clean he was and was surprised when she saw he was from a home. Her comment to my wife was that it must be a good home.

Every time I visit the home I am always met with a smile and a very friendly environment. The home is always clean and tidy and all the staff and residents are happy and relaxed. There is always plenty of activities for the residents to join in with and there's always a staff member to help if needed.

Staff inform me of any issues and are always available when I have a query. The staff are friendly and approachable. My aunt receives good care. The building is kept in good order making it safe, clean and appropriate for its purpose. The garden offers a good alternative space when visiting in the summer months. The meals are good. Activities are varied, and the coordinator is first class.

From stepping in to leaving, every member of staff is polite, helpful, responsive and respectful. My mum is very well cared for and you can feel a genuine warmth towards her from the staff. They have a good working knowledge of Mum and from my observations, when staff are with Mum, they are very caring, gentle and communicate with her in a lovely positive manner.

Mum (who will be 98 in April) has been a resident for several years. She is well looked after and very happy here. The staff are kind, caring, respectful and kind. The home is well maintained and clean. There are activities for the residents on most days. Special days and occasions such as St George's Day and Easter are celebrated in style with residents making many of the decorations during their activities. We, as a family, are happy with Mum's care.

My Mother was discharged hospital with a terminal illness and was a resident of Beverley Grange Nursing Home for the last almost six months of her life. The care that she received was excellent, as was the compassion shown both to her and her visiting relatives.

I cannot recommend Beverley Grange Nursing Home highly enough. A very caring and welcoming place to both Mum and I. It felt like extended family. They made the difficult decision of putting Mum into a home so much easier. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for her and for the support they gave me and my sister. It was above and beyond what was expected.

I would not have allowed my husband to live for such a long time in a nursing home if I had not been completely satisfied with his care.

It is a relief to see my mother being cared for by such wonderful staff which allows myself and the rest of the family to visit as family and not as carers.
