The Village Nursing Home anyone would be proud to reside in the home as the staff + I mean all the staff from nursing to cleaner do the home proud they all deserve medals of the highest order for the work they do in making the home from home atmosphere that the home has from my arrival until departure as a 6 week respite client my stay was impeccable throughout, as being a resident of Murton itself the home I knew practicly everyone that resided in there! Even if my words fall on deaf ears the excellence of this care home in Murton rings out for all to hear and it certainly makes me proud to have been allowed to stay for my third respite care I received there. Sincerely.

We had hoped that Mam would stay permanently but she decided she's rather try to cope at home. It's a real shame as we love the home. Staff are very kind and caring which really lifts some of the worry and gives peace of mind. There was always something fun going on which we really liked as for us it's important to face life with a smile and a sense of humour.
Catering always looked lovely and everytime we went in someone was going from room to soon sorting out drinks and checking on less mobile residents. Management were very approachable and helpful and there was always access to medical support.
We are so grateful to everyone at the home for being amazing.
Mam was admitted on Jan 14th as a crisis bed. Manager & staff could not have been more welcoming to us and made her feel safe & comfortable from the start. Throughout her stay this continued and I was very satisfied with her treatment whilst she was a resident by all the staff.

After my elderly parents passed away, I decided that I would love to work with the elderly and started working as an activity coordinator. Having a total career change, this was the best decision I have ever made! I find my job really rewarding, although it can at times be challenging. I really feel that I make a difference in our resident’s lives; they look forward to seeing me every day, as I do them. My residents at The Village have become part of my extended family and I care for them very much.
