My mum moved in about a few months ago into care unfortunately, but I'm so happy that she has settled in so well, within a couple of weeks, all the team that work there are fabulous and treat my mum, with respect and dignity and they are all so welcome to my mum as well as family and friends. I couldn't
ask for more to be honest, but to know my mum is happy and being well looked after.

My mother has been a resident at Lakeside House for almost 18 months and we have just celebrated her second birthday in care here. This prompted me to submit a review as I know how difficult it is to 'hand a loved one over' to the care of someone else and hope my thoughts help. Since living at Lakeside
House my mum has been treated with respect, care and good humour at every moment. Now that Covid restrictions are easier I can drop in for a visit whenever I like and always find her beautifully cared for. All her everyday needs are looked after to the letter but care goes beyond that. Although there is always a great activity calendar for residents, my mum prefers to stay in her room. The staff therefore always ensure they pop their heads in to say hello when they are just passing her room, stop for a chat if they have the time and are always so pleasant and friendly giving me reports on how she has been whilst I've not been there. I feel relaxed and reassured and want to say thank you.
