Overall Experience
The Haining staff are truly angels in blue uniforms. My mother has been there for over a year now and the difference the staff here have made to the quality of her life is immeasurable.
Prior to moving here my mum was gravely ill, weak, confused, taking strokes, and constantly falling at home with regular visits to the hospital. She is now healthier, more alert and has put a bit weight on. She has friends and has regular activities and outing.
As a family we truly believe she is healthier now than a year and a half ago, and that is 100% down to the live, care and respect she receives from the staff in the Haining. From the nurses, the carers, the events coordinator, the cook and the cleaners. They all chat to the residents...

Our family feel confident in the care my mum receives there...Well done to the Haining Angels, you are all incredible.

My mum has been in The Haining for over one year now. She has taken a long time to settle but the staff have always been amazing and have done, and continue to do, as much as they can caring for, and reassuring my mum as much as they can. There is not one request I have made that has not been dealt with. I have found they care as much about the relatives feelings, as they do the residents - that is invaluable. I am grateful and appreciative that my mum is so well looked after - peace of mind for all the family.

Overall Experience

My mother was a resident in The Haining Nursing Home in 2022 and was well cared for. The staff were all kind and attentive and my mother commented a number of times on how good they were to her. Unlike a prison camp, visitors were welcomed by the friendly staff and I was allowed to take my mother outside in her wheelchair whenever she wanted, for a turn around the grounds or when larger groups of family members visited her. Although my mother was a fussy eater, the food, on the whole, was good.

Overall Experience
Residents are left in wheelchairs for hours. I personally witnessed this when visiting, it’s like a prison camp.
Asked staff if mum could be moved from the wheelchair to a more comfortable chair and was told the wheelchair was actually a comfortable seat.

Care for mum was totally dreadful.
