After a very stressful time, Zoe took dad in to West Park within 48 hours of seeing him. The home, the staff and their communications during the 10 weeks he was with them were fantastic. Everyone always knew who we were and who we were visiting.
We can't praise them enough, we felt welcomed and more importantly, we knew that dad was being well looked after - everyone was aware of his health, and how he was doing every time we visited, even if they were not working directly with him. We also received texts and calls to advise on what was happening when dad was ill - the stress was lifted as we knew someone was keeping an eye on him all the time.

A professional home, with lovely, friendly staff that we trusted to look after dad - we are so glad that we chose West Park, and recommend it highly .

My mum has been a resident for just under 2 years. I have been so very grateful to all the staff for their superb care and kindness shown not only to Mum but to our entire family. They go out of their way to make us welcome.

I feel the homely atmosphere and excellent care has meant that we have been given more quality time with Mum as when she was in hospital she was deteriorating rapidly. Mum will be 92 in June and not in the best of health but still has quality of life due to the warmth comfort and care provided by all the staff in West Park.

My mum has been in Westpark for over a year now due to mobility problems. I can't rate them high enough. Every staff member is amazing. I'm often on the phone to my mum and the staff all speak to me, including the manager. My brother travels from Aberdeen every Saturday, it's just like one big family.

My relative receives excellent care. She is now very dependent - I feel that she is in a safe place and is looked after with compassion and skill. The staff all know her very well, they do an amazing job and are all heroes in our eyes.

My dad was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease and after a hospital stay was ready to leave and move to a home that ensured the best care.
As a nurse in a nursing home, I was so dedicated to finding the care I was used to giving in my care home.
The whole team were so involved from day one and introduced themselves to Dad, from maintenance making sure his family pictures were in the right place, to cooks and cleaners (apologies, I appreciate that I'm not using the right terminology) care staff and nurses. Dad had difficulty communicating but they all took so much time to speak with him and so quickly involved him in the West Park family.
As his daughters we were given so much support and myself and my sister also felt included in their family.

I will always be truly grateful for everyone who made Dad's transition into the West Park family such a caring loving time for our dad.

Unfortunately my sisters stay in West Park was quite short. Only 6 months. During this time it was a great pleasure visiting her. It was like walking into a family home. All the staff from the cleaners, chef to the manager and owner treated us like part of the family. All the staff said how much they loved going to work because it was like family, and it truly showed in their care and attention to the residents and families.

During my sisters last few weeks the care she received, and in fact the care we also as family received, was above and beyond anything we could have asked for. It certainly helped us through the trauma of losing our loved one. We can never thank everyone enough for how we were treated.
