Livingston Care Home

Just over a year ago my sister became a resident at Livingston Care Home, she settled very well which was all thanks to the excellent staff. Everyone is very friendly, and extremely caring. The entertainment and activities are varied and enjoyable.

My father was a resident at Livingston Care Home from July 2025 to July 2026, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care he received. Every member of staff was exceptionally professional, kind, and compassionate, and they took excellent care of my father throughout his stay. My Step mother has also been a resident at the home from October 2025 and again I cannot speak highly enough of the care team and management at the home they keep me informed of any issues and I get updates consistently from them. Mandy and Nicola are always available for a wee chat as well. Thank you

My wife recently moved into Livingston Care Home and it has been a very positive move, the staff have been very welcoming and I have been invited to attend the trips out with my wife which has been wonderful. The management team have been very supportive towards my daughter and I and allow me to have my meals in the home as well. I really can't fault the home or the staff who care for my wife with such compassion.

My mother has recently moved to Livingston care home, she has settled in so well and enjoys all the activities, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My mum has had a complete new lease of life since becoming a resident which gives me and my family great peace of mind knowing she is in a safe and loving environment. Richard

My grandma has recently moved into Livingston care home and the difference in her is night and day! She is happy, well looked after and it is great to know she is in safe, friendly hands. A good range of activities for residents and a nice clean, homely environment.

My mum moved in January and has settled in well. The staff are friendly, and I find all care given to be excellent. I feel that if I had any questions or concerns, I would approach the nurse in charge and the management is very approachable.

When mum entered the care home in late 2021 she has in a poor condition having been in hospital. That she recovered sufficiently to line another four and a half years was a testament to the care she received. The staff were kind and caring and did everything they could for her.

From the very first time we met the staff to the present day we have been made to feel welcome and part of the Livingston care home family. The staff always make sure mums best interests are taken into consideration and they always give her the option of participating in any activities they have planned. We really couldn't ask for a better care home to look after my mother.

My mother has been in the care home for 4 months. In that time she has been cared for kindly, and professionally, with the highest of dignity. Not only has she had this kindness and compassion, so have we as a family.

I visit my friends, mum & the care she receives is second to none. Care staff are very friendly & will do anything asked of them. Management are very friendly & very approachable, always asking if there is anything we need to make my friends' mums stay more enjoyable. To be honest all staff across the board are really very good, we feel like we have made a few new friends. Would definitely recommend this care to anyone.

My Mum has been a resident since May 2020. In the last year there has been a marked positive difference in the continuity of care, lower staff turnover and a consistent approach to the care my Mum has received. I feel my Mum is cared for as an individual and she receives care tailored to her needs. I also feel that the care extends to myself too, as a family member, and that has greatly improved how included I feel in my Mum's day to day life. The physical changes made to the lay out of the home have made a significant difference to how my Mum engages with staff and fellow residents, and this has improved her quality of life as a result. It is clear the staff and management care about the residents and the home is a joy to visit. Well done all.

He was always very well looked after, and the environment was consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming. I genuinely cannot fault anything about this care home. The nurses and carers show remarkable kindness and respect to all residents, which made a huge difference to both my father and our family.

The food was excellent and the staff were always very accommodating to individual needs. The level of care and attention provided was truly outstanding.

Staff just brilliant, Lind the charge nurse is exceptional in every area.

The staff have been amazing with my Dad - he can be quite demanding and grumpy at times due to his illness and as his mobility is gone, he has to rely on the staff to transfer from him from bed to a wheelchair. Nothing seems too much of a bother to them. I can't praise them enough for all they've done for my Dad

The staff was really friendly and welcoming and they seem to all have there time for the residents. The care home was clean and when I was waiting for my taxi the staff was singing to the residents which nearly had me in tears. I hope all the staff stay bless and know that you're doing an amazing job

My two aunties are residents at Livingstone Care Home and we couldn't be happier with the level of care. The recent management has made a lot of changes, for the better. Absolutely fantastic care home.

Excellent care home which was the main one recommended by friends. Myself and family are pleased in the knowledge that my wife is in good hands in this care home!

LCH home delivers excellent care to my wife. They are all so caring including the nurses, carer, domestic's and kitchen staff. In recent months the new managers have significantly improved the service as whole. I am looking forward to the new lounge opening so that I can spend my visits there, I thoroughly enjoy chatting with the staff on my daily visits.
