Morar Lodge offers a comforting setting in which to enjoy later life. Privately owned and rich in character, the home blends the charm of a large Victorian villa with the comfort and accessibility of a modern, purpose-built bungalow, opened in 2009. Together, these buildings create a calm, homely environment where residents can feel safe, relaxed, and truly at home.
Morar Lodge is surrounded by small garden areas, a stoned patio, and a welcoming central courtyard, providing pleasant outdoor spaces for fresh air, relaxation, and spending time with family and friends.
The grounds also offer spacious on-site parking, thoughtfully designed to support disabled access and transfers, ensuring convenience and comfort for residents and visitors alike.

Since my wife was admitted to Morar Lodge in December 2024, she has improved so much. I've got my wife back, she gets to enjoy the things she likes, singing and dancing, and she's back to attending a weekly tea dance that Morar Lodge encourages. She's happy and settled, and I couldn't ask for more....

I've got my wife back, she gets to enjoy the things she likes, singing and dancing, and she's back to attending a weekly tea dance that Morar Lodge encourages. She's happy and settled, and I couldn't ask for more. The staff at Morar Lodge go out of their way to make me feel welcome and part of the family. The home baking and activities are great. Other members of our family have remarked how well looked after and loved my wife is by the staff.

We take your feedback very seriously and have worked with our Chef to provide an alternative menu for all residents who wish something other than what is on that day's menu. We try to offer all our residents a varied and nutritious menu, and will continue to work towards excellence with our menus, etc
