My Mother and her partner arrived at Ainslie in Jan 2026. Her partner has since died.
The care she and he received has been excellent.

The nursing staff are caring and good at their roles and the admin and management could not be better.

Overall Experience

I wanted to thank all the lovely staff at Ainslie Manor for their wonderful, kind care for my mum, Jean.

To say their care and kindness has been fantastic is an understatement. My mum has never been in a care home before and naturally, she was very apprehensive about what to expect.

I saw my mum this week and I was bowled over at how warm, welcoming and kind everyone is. This kindness was also extended to me during my visits to see her this week.

I felt the least I could do was to write a review.

Many thanks to all for being such lovely, kind, warm, caring folk.

You're all a credit to Ainslee Manor.

Kind regards,

Lionel

My partner recently stayed at Ainslie Manor for respite care, and I cannot thank the staff enough for the kindness and support they showed throughout his stay. Every member of staff treated him with genuine care, dignity ,and respect. They were always compassionate, patient, and attentive, making sure he was comfortable and well looked after. It was reassuring to know he was in such capable and caring hands. The staff also kept me informed and made me feel welcome whenever I visited. Their professionalism and kindness made a difficult time much easier for both of us.

From the day my parents arrived to the day they departed, the staff were first class. Thank you all for making my parent's last two years of their lives the best they could be and being able to be together.

Overall Experience
Ainslie Manor was home to my parents from May 2022 until May 2023 for my Dad and January 2024 for my mum.
Married for 65 years their wishes were to remain together and pass together.
Unlike most Nursing homes, Ainslie provide for families and couples to live together, they support couples even when dementia challenges the status quo. All needs are provided on an individual one-to-one basis and provided with compassion and care and more importantly dignity. Ainslie not only cherishes our loved ones but throws their arms around the family, the support I received personally from all of the staff was unbelievable. I will be forever grateful that my parents although ill, had the best care with as much independence as they wished and when the time came the gentle unobtrusive, sensitive and dignified end of life.

Having dealt with numerous Nursing homes in England and in Scotland I can honestly say Ainslie is the standard that all should follow. They also bake the best shortbread period.

Overall Experience

My dad has recently become a permanent resident and I have nothing but praise for all of the staff concerned who look after the residents so well. Lovely scenic views. Clean and obviously well cared for and all the residents seem happy and contented in the time I was there visiting my dad who seemed so happy and settled. The staff are patient and caring and I wouldn't wish for him to be anywhere else.
