Despite what it says when you search online for it, Abbots Barton is open. My friend with learning difficulties was unhappy in his last group home, and along with his dad, I helped facilitate his move to Abbots Barton. Despite what it says when you search online for it, Abbots Barton is open. My friend with learning difficulties was unhappy in his last group home, and along with his dad, I helped facilitate his move to Abbots Barton. My friend has been there for four weeks now and is so happy. I cannot praise the manager and his staff enough for making him welcome. As well as telling us, there are several signs that my friend is much happier than before. The house is not the smartest, but the care the staff provide is excellent.
