Primrose Terrace, Porth, CF39 9TF
Pen Bryn is a new mental health residential service which has been designed especially for individuals wanting to move back into the community, but still require support from fully trained staff. Through a transitional model of care the service is designed to provide an opportunity for people to step down into more independent living at a pace suitable to them.
The focus is on recovery. The recovery star model underpins assessment and care planning processes. Careful risk taking and risk management is the key to progress. The recovery star helps the individuals develop the skills and confidence to manage their own mental health relapse strategies. Pen Bryn has clinically trained staff in forensic risk management and has a proven track record in supporting complex risk individuals along the progression pathway.
The service offers individuals with mental health needs a range of accommodation options including bedroom suites and studio apartments. In addition, there is ample communal space and a large garden.
