The Fitzwilliam Care Centre is a new, high quality and luxurious care home, having been recently built in Mablethorpe, on the coast of Lincolnshire.

The home prides itself on providing high standard of quality care to people requiring residential, dementia, respite, and day care for all ages.

The home is currently looking at opening a dedicated Young Physically Disabled unit which will provide facilities for respite, transitional, day care and permanent care.

The outstanding shared facilities include a cinema room, recreational spaces, dining areas, and for those who like to be pampered, a hair and nail salon.

The team at the home are dedicated to offering an active and stimulating lifestyle for people with all types of care needs. The daily activities programme incorporates music, baking, crafts, games and exercise classes and residents are encouraged to maximise their full enjoyment by participating as much as possible.

The majority of staff are very good however, there are usually only two on the dementia suite, so there needs to be more to give adequate care and attention. There are one or two members of the care team who have poor communication skills. There is also a high turnover of all staffing levels, including
5 different managers in a short time the home has been open. Activities are quite poor, not enough going on and what there is are rarely relevant to skills of most dementia residents, i.e. complicated games that most need help to do etc.

The staff are fantastic. All kind and professional. Reception staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable of all the residents. All the cleaning staff acknowledge the residents and interact with them at every opportunity. The care staff are all lovely.

My husband just spent a week in respite at The Fitzwilliam Care Centre Mablethorpe. I looked at too many care homes to mention before I found this gem, it's beautiful inside filled with little touches that make it stand out as a special home. The staff I met were friendly and professional, the bedroom
was large, clean and bright. When I arrived to collect him he looked clean, happy and comfortable. Everything you need in respite, I hope next time I need help that Fitzwilliam Care will have a room available. Thank you all so much for taking good care of my husband and taking the stress out of respite.

My mum is in this care home and I think this care home and all its staff are phenomenal they are an absolute credit to their company. Moving my mother here has been the best thing ever. She is so happy. Its staff are incredible. Everything is just top-notch. The place is so wonderful.
I would recommend it to anybody wanting the best for their loved ones.

If I could give 11 out of ten. I would. Have moved my mother from another care home that was sadly not up to expectations. Mother was in a terrible state. She has vastly improved. My wife and I cannot believe the transformation.
From crying every day and not wanting to carry on. From feeling as if
she was somehow being punished. She is now so happy. She now says that she must have done something right to end up in such a beautiful place.
It doesn't get any better than this. What a fantastic place with fabulous caring staff. This is how caring should be. Amazing. Can't thank them enough.

After four bad experiences in different homes I was very nervous about my mum being in a fifth home, the manager was so patient, understanding, caring to my situation with my mum, her staff are excellent, always having time to chat and always asking if you're fine. They don't just look after my mum
they look after her family too, I can't speak highly enough of the manager and her staff. For the first time in five years I'm slowly learning to relax and not feel worried or stressed and the home itself is outstanding and beautiful. I would highly recommend this home.

The home itself is amazing like a home from home. The staff are wonderful nothing too much trouble for them, very approachable if you need to ask anything. Would recommend it to anyone. My mum has thoroughly enjoyed her stay in the home.

We had to put our lovely mum into care due to her failing health and 24/7 care requirements. The manager and the staff were fantastic with Mum, who could be very challenging at times. Fitzwilliam Care Centre is lovely, bright and beautifully decorated with excellent rooms. Spotlessly clean with outstanding
care given. Every member of the staff is polite and caring. Couldn't have had a better place for Mum.

Dad has been going to daycare once a week since the centre opened. He loves it. The facilities are first class. The staff are friendly and caring. They really go all out to make sure Dad has a great time while he's there. The food is lovely. I had a meal there myself, and they even made Dad's favourite
hunter's chicken.
The rooms are of an extremely high standard and very well thought out, all with ensuite shower rooms and TVs. I know when Dad needs to have full-time care, he will be very comfy. And because of the daycare availability, he'll be well accustomed to his surroundings and the staff.

It was such a relief to have support at such a challenging time for me and my dad, it took all the stress and worry away placing Dad at Fitzwilliam Care Centre. The care that Dad has been given is excellent, they went above and beyond to help Dad settle in and trust me, if my dad says he’s happy it

Mum moved in on 31/7/23 and loves it. The staff are excellent. So far, the care she has received is second to none. I cannot praise all the carers and staff enough. They do her nails a right old pamper session. Play games etc to keep her entertained. Walks out to enjoy the fresh air. I cannot recommend
this place enough based on my/our experience so far. If you are looking for a place for a loved one then look no further.

We cannot praise this care centre enough. Caring and attentive staff, beautiful accommodation, attention to detail concerning users needs, great communication with all staff. We would highly recommend a look around. We are only using the care centre for respite presently, but when the time comes we
will have no worries with our son being full time residential.
