Herne Bay Manor

Herne Bay Manor has fantastic staff who really care. My mother recently celebrated her 90th milestone birthday at the home & all the staff went over & above to make her day super special.

Gemma, their activities coordinator does a great job of including all residents & families to get involved in activities & it really does boost the home atmosphere. It's a warm, kind & welcoming environment & my parents really enjoy being residents.

I placed my mum in respite care with some trepidation due to a bad experience in a different home. I need not have worried! I found the staff approachable, caring and nothing was too much trouble. The home has feel of serenity, very calm, warm and welcoming. I have no hesitation in placing my mum there again should the need arise. In fact she didn't want to come home!

Dad has only been here a month but is already settling in thanks to the kind and welcoming staff he's starting to make friends with other residents and joining in with the activities and enjoying the meals.

Beautiful and friendly care home which I thought never existed. My wife enjoys exceptional medical care provided by experienced nursing staff with the support of weekly visits from the local GP medical Centre. The care staff surpass my expectation ensuring my wife although has advanced Mixed Dementia is cleaned thoroughly with good personal care enjoying jacuzzi bath times. The meals can be easily compared to restaurant quality delivered to her room but a superb dinning room in a more formal setting is available when she is capable of eating in that surrounding. Her room is spacious with a wet room included giving full ensuite facilities. The care home is situated in a lovely setting offering an outside space for relaxation and I would not like her to be anywhere else .Management are friendly approachable and keen on feedback

Only 6-7 other residents in the home, so rather quiet and have not yet fully functional (e.g., trips or visits, activities)

Our family member has lived at Herne Bay Manor since mid-March of this year, and our experience of the standard of care, compassion and family inclusion has remained positive throughout. Staff at all levels are professional, kind and approachable, offering support and guidance through what has been an emotional journey. The home is spotlessly clean, very welcoming with a wonderful homely and warm atmosphere. The food is always fresh, with options available to suit all. In our experience our family member receives care tailored to them and their needs, which is so reassuring and comforting.

The staff I have met so far have all been lovely. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, my nans room is always clean and tidy. My nan suffers from advanced dementia and she seems to have settled very well in this home. I visit regularly and I am always welcomed and offered a cup of something hot/cold to drink and some cakes/biscuits. Nan seems very happy and content with the staff around her. The food I have seen and tasted has been of a very high standard.

Hernebay manor is a home that has made the decor ,rooms , all is stunning to look at, they have gone above to make it so homly .The staff were so welcoming, I was stunned how every detail has been so thought out for the care and needs of residents ,definitely a gold star

The team at Herne Bay Manor, which has just recently opened are wonderful, providing excellent care to my friend who is a resident. Every staff member has got the time and patience to answer any questions concerning my friend. The facilities are amazing, providing comfort, care and compassion. I would definitely recommend Herne Bay Manor to anyone needing care.
