Only 6-7 other residents in the home, so rather quiet and have not yet fully functional (e.g., trips or visits, activities)

Overall Experience

Our family member has lived at Herne Bay Manor since mid-March of this year, and our experience of the standard of care, compassion and family inclusion has remained positive throughout. Staff at all levels are professional, kind and approachable, offering support and guidance through what has been an emotional journey. The home is spotlessly clean, very welcoming with a wonderful homely and warm atmosphere. The food is always fresh, with options available to suit all. In our experience our family member receives care tailored to them and their needs, which is so reassuring and comforting.

Overall Experience
I find the home very calm and peaceful.

The staff I have met so far have all been lovely. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, my nans room is always clean and tidy. My nan suffers from advanced dementia and she seems to have settled very well in this home. I visit regularly and I am always welcomed and offered a cup of something hot/cold to drink and some cakes/biscuits. Nan seems very happy and content with the staff around her. The food I have seen and tasted has been of a very high standard.

Overall Experience
On my initial enquiry, I was contacted by Anna, who was happy to answer any questions or concerns we had. We were then invited to come and view the home.
On our tour of the home, we were made to feel welcome by all the staff. The home itself felt like stepping onto a cruise ship-homely, inviting, and beautifully presented from the moment we walked through the doors. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, as are the bathrooms, each of which has its own temperature controls so they can be set precisely to the resident's needs.
The communal areas are equally welcoming, and there is always coffee and cake available. An assessment of the required care needs was completed, and everything was put in place very quickly, allowing a move to be agreed without delay.
Every person who works at Herne Bay Manor is welcoming, caring, and clearly proud of the work they do. It is simply a lovely place to be-for both the residents and the visitors.

The food is outstanding: freshly cooked, plentiful,
