Evelyn Court Care Home has a Review Score of 10 (9.961) out of 10, based on 24 reviews in the last 2 years.
Over all time Evelyn Court Care Home has 24 reviews.
My review of activities reflects the fact that I haven't observed many as yet.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It must be reassuring to hear Mum say how happy and cared for she is. We have activities daily, ranging from one to one time, entertainers, group sessions and much more all of which are personalised for each individual. Please take a look on the notice board in the village green for information on all upcoming activities.
My Dad has just spent 7 weeks at Evelyn court whilst we waited for somewhere nearer to home and I was utterly blown away by the way the staff manage this home. The care and attention shown for my Dad by the staff was absolutely exemplary. There is such a special way that they care for people here that as soon as my Dad would arrive after a day out, you could see him literally soften and relax when he was welcomed back by them. He would get really anxious as he couldn't remember where he was returning to as his Alzheimer's is pretty bad. We have looked at quite a few homes over the last year , staying at 3 and the love and care at Evelyn court has been outstanding. The dementia journey has been pretty traumatic recently but the staff at Evelyn court smoothed it massively. Huge kudos to all involved!! 5 stars.
Appreciate you taking the time to share your experience of Evelyn court. Thank you.
After a few months of mum being in and out of hospital. She finally became a resident at Evelyn Court Care Home. All mums' care is tailored and planned to meet her needs, which has resulted in her enjoying life again after a confusing and difficult time. There is always a warm welcome and as a relative feel valued and listened to. It's a great team of friendly, caring, and professional staff. Thank you, everyone!
We are so pleased Mum is enjoying life here as part of our Evelyn court family. Thank you for your time is leaving this lovely review.
The meals are of excellent quality and drinks and biscuits are served throughout the day.
The standard of entertainment provided at Evelyn Court is also excellent, and is particularly appreciated by my Mum, especially when there's dancing involved.
I couldn't wish for a better care home for my parents.
As we appreciate seeing your Mum happily dancing away! Thank you for your lovely review. I will share with the team.
Felt very lucky to secure a bed for my mum at Evelyn Court following a fall and a stay in hospital. She has now been there for nearly 3 months. The building itself is very homely, bright and cheerful and designed specifically for the needs of residents with dementia. You can visit any time you like day or night with no prior appointment. The best assets of Evelyn Court are the management and staff. From the initial phone call to where we are now I can honestly say that all members of staff including kitchen, laundry and cleaning, go above and beyond to look after the people in their care with compassion, love and joy. Thank you to the fantastic team of staff who are so well led by Rebecca and Kat.
We too are lucky to have met your wonderful Mum and lovely family. Your kind words mean the world to the team, thank you.
From the moment My Uncle came to stay with you in December till now, I have been very impressed with the warmth, love and genuine care given to him and all of his relative's who have visited. It's lovely to know we are all welcome to pop in anytime. My uncle seems happy in his world and relaxed which is great to see. Thank you
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your thoughts. I will share with the team.
Thank you so much for caring for our mum so wonderfully. It's peaceful to know that she is carefully looked after but also loved x
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely thoughts on our happy home. A wonderful lady who we are lucky to care for.
The scenes of the TV's Christmas was lovely to see and enables everyone in festive mood.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback.
This is a very sad day for me as it is the realization that my partner is no longer with us. Barbara came to the sister home to Evelyn Court in January 2025.She was quite a challenging case and at times presented very difficult behaviour. As her dementia progressed so did her demands on everyone who cared for her. In June 2025 she joined the team at the newly built Evelyn Court along with many support staff from the sister home. I have found Evelyn Court to be excellent with regards to its facilities, nothing has been spared in meeting the residents needs. I have always found the staff to be wonderful and I have no words to describe my admiration for every single one of them. On a personal note I have been embraced and supported through some very emotional events with warmth and love and I have drawn such comfort in knowing Barbara's final year was in such a caring environment. I highly recommend Evelyn Court to anyone seeking a quality care provision for their loved one.
Thank you for such lovely words. You both will always be part of our family and you can visit us any time.
A beautiful place with beautiful staff that oozed warmth and love to the patients (residents) and relatives.
What was a dreadful time for myself was made so much more bearable by the care given to me.
It had to be the first step to heaven.
Thank you to everyone of you.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts to you for finding the time during your sadness to leave us this lovely review. Please know our door is always open to you should you even need us.
My dad has just moved in to Everlyn Court 2 weeks ago. After visiting numerous care and nursing homes as soon as I walked in to Everlyn court I know it was the right place and by far the best home I visited. The manager and staff were and are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and have their own toilets and showers. There is a family cafe inside which is really well priced and food is nice. The building is brand new with great outside facilities and it feels more like a hotel than a nursing home. The food is really nice and freshly made for the residents and the home has a nice fresh clean smell compared to many I visited. There is also a hair salon there which is very convenient. This is by far the best nursing home I have been in. They even have family rooms on top floor in case patients are end of life which I thought was a really good idea. Most of the staff I have met have worked for the company for years which to me is a good thing rather than a lot of homes having temporary staff
We as a team can not thank you enough for such kind words, i will share this with all the team.
There are no words to express how wonderful Evelyn court is. As a family, finding Mum a new home in very stressful circumstances was the most difficult decision we had ever had to make. However, now as a family we almost have a feeling of reward as Mum and our family experienced an exceptional level of care, compassion, efficiency and love when we were all at our most vulnerable.
We are truly thankful to every member of staff for every minute of their time they gave to Mum and us a family.
A very happy place to be, full of happy residents and staff alike. I can honestly say (with having lots of experience in nursing care) Evelyn court is above and beyond in every aspect.
We as a team can not thank you enough for such kind words. We are so lucky to care for people like your Mum and meet lovely families like yours.
The whole team cared not only for the residents but the families too. Nothing was too much trouble and although my husband was unable to verbalise his thoughts I'm sure that he would agree that all the staff from managers, medical team, and carers to the catering staff and anyone else in between, cared for the residents with great kindness, with humour and enthusiasm, maintaining dignity and using knowledge and experience too. I could go on ..I would have no hesitation in recommending Evelyn Court to anyone.
You will always be a part of the Evelyn court family. Thank you for your kind words, I will share with the team.
My father received excellent care at Evelyn Court. The home it's self is fantastic and a lot of thought has gone in to making residents stay there a stimulating and safe experience but the real asset is the team of staff there.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on Evelyn court. I will share with the team.
The Care home has not been open long but so far couldnt be better.
Thank you for your review, the home is new with the same dedicated team I will share your kind words with the team.
My father has been in the home for 3 weeks and I can't fault the care received - the Manager has been so supportive and caring, the carers so genuinely caring and lovely and the homemade food is delicious. The rooms are immaculate and the range of activities brilliant.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We are pleased our homemade food has been enjoyed. I will share your comments with the team, and I'm pleased I have been able to offer my support.
Their offer of food and refreshments, to the dignity shown to us and my mother at the end will stay with me forever.
I cannot thank the management and staff enough and would gladly and highly recommend Evelyn Court to anyone needing this type of care.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review. I will share your lovely comments with the team.
I cannot speak highly enough of the Team at Evelyn Court, who put smiles on faces every day. Their care and commitment to the residents and their families is outstanding, and every visit is a pleasure.
The home itself is magnificent, having been designed and built specifically to meet the needs of it's residents, and is testimony to the vision and passion of it's owner.
Evelyn Court is the standard that all Care Homes should aspire to.
Thank you for such kind words. Dad also puts a smile on our faces every day!
In June 2025 she moved to Evelyn Court. The new building is impressive, more like a hotel than a care home. The facilities are stunning. Excellent parking too.
However, the key to a good home is the staff. The same staff moved with the residents and continue to provide excellent care. Our loved ones are fortunate to have such a dedicated team who go above and beyond.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice review, we do appreciate it thank you.
My mum always had a beautiful smile for all the staff. They all do a wonderful job with all residents. Sadly mum passed away on 16/072025. The home is 1st class and would recommend to anyone who has a relative who needs 24/7 care. The staff are just wonderful
Mum always made us smile too. Thank you for your review. Come and see us for a coffee any time.
