This is an Amazing place, the team are committed in caring for the residents, reliable, hard-working, voluntarily take the residents out on their days off, so they know they are wanted. The team work together, cleanse and care for the residents as well as labelling and washing clothes/bedding on a daily
basis. Afternoon activities happen daily, parties, especially Easter, Christmas and birthdays. Some of the residents have talents like singing and playing music and love chatting about their lives, doing quizzes, puzzles and artwork. The meals are at the right times but the team take residents to their room if they don’t feel up to coming down, residents can choose to bring or buy their own furniture/carpets if they choose to make it feel like home as my friend preferred to do. Some people are quick to slate Belgravia Care Home but they really should voluntarily try working here a week, they would realise, just how the team operate to support everyone.

My mum was only resident for 3 and a half weeks before she passed. The room she had was on the fourth floor and overlooked the sea. It was a lovely room nice and clean. We were able to take in her rise/recliner chair and numerous pictures and photos which were hung on the wall for her. Staff were keen
to help the family make her room more familiar to her. The staff actively encouraged mum to go down to the dining room and lounge and were respectful and kind to her. We particularly liked that mealtimes, particularly breakfast were not regimented which allowed mum some choice of what time she had breakfast. They encouraged her to eat and recognised that she was one of their quieter residents and sat her with appropriate companions for mealtimes. Staff could not have been kinder to both Mum and the family during her time there and following her passing. We had time to stay with her and time to remove her belongings without being rushed. Management should be proud of all staff.

My sister has been here for some years and all the staff are lovely and can't do enough for her. She has a great room with sea views. She has her hair done by a visiting hairdresser and her toes/feet are done by a chiropodist. Lots of things always going on and plenty of outings and walks on the promenade.

My mother lived here for 5 years. She was always well looked after and cared for.
The staff were always there if my mother needed anything and nothing was ever too much trouble for them, they treated her like she was a part of their family.
Towards the end of her life, the staff went above and beyond
to care for her in her final days and I couldn't have asked for more. I will always be very grateful for the care they gave to my mother.

Inspection ratings
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well.
Good - the service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
Requires improvement - the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
Inadequate - the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service.
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended - there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon.
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service.
The service must make improvements.
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action.
