We always find the staff extremely helpful and kind. We believe Lawrence is looked after very well considering his condition. We would like to thank the management and staff for treating Larence with dignity. Overall we think Lawrence is safe and secure in this home.

Mother is not happy about being left on her own for so long each day but given basic care when required. Being treated with end of life care with basic medication. Offered pain relief but refuses. Very isolated at the front of the building but because she is on 'end of life' she isn't offered any physio
or helped to stand or exercise.

The staff here were so caring and accommodating to our relative. Nothing was too much effort. They made sure he had everything he needed. We were constantly informed about all updates. We cannot say a bad word about the care our relative had.

My sister has passed a few days ago after a stay if about 5 years at Charnwood House Nursing Home. I have always found the staff to be friendly, courteous and helpful. A caring personal home, where management and staff get to know the resident and their family. Whilst some of the decor/furniture is not modern, the rooms were immaculately clean and freshly painted. Most importantly, dad's comfort and medical care was clearly paramount to all. We cannot thank them enough
and would highly recommend.

My brother could not wish for better care at Charnwood House. My brother always looks healthy and clean, always clean clothes on each day and shaved. Food good enjoys. All the staff are very caring and chat to the residents. Patrick seems to have settled in and happy.

Mum has been in Charnwood House since July 2020. She has been looked after with dignity and compassion. The carers are so patient, as my mum can be quite a challenge to look after at times.
Although the nursing home is in an old house, it has recently been updated by the new owners, who have made
it into a very friendly, caring, lovely, welcoming home for my mum to live in and for me to visit.

Staff are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions we have. My mum is very well looked after and seems very happy here. We are happy with how mum is being cared for. The food Mum has is very good she seems to eat most of it. Staff always make sure mum has a drink etc.

My mum went to Charnwood Nursing Home in 2020 with Dementia. Unfortunately, she passed away in December 2023. In all the time she was there The manager and all the carers were always approachable and nothing short of amazing. On a few occasions, we would go in and ask if we could see her room and were
shown up immediately without hesitation. She was always clean and obviously cared for. Mum although having dementia was often full of life. Often laughing and chatting to the carers. She was happy in her world. When she passed away all the carers were in genuine tears. Personally, I cannot fault her care and once again like to say a big thank you to everyone there.

My father went to Charnwood House Nursing Home for 4 weeks to give me respite for myself I was a little apprehensive at first because it looks a little untidy from the outside but the owners are doing a lot of improvements on the property, I will admit that the owner and all the staff are absolutely
marvellous people and so friendly. My father has had a wonderful time at Charnwood House Nursing Home and wants to go back, they are very warm people and very understanding the residents are well cared for my father has said the food is excellent and the support and care is fantastic overall they deserve a 10 Star rating. Thank you to all at Charnwood House Nursing Home for taking such good care of my father.
