Clifton House is a welcoming 6-bedroom home providing high-quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The team are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every individual can thrive, feel valued, and live as independently as possible.
The dedicated team of staff are fully trained and bring specialist knowledge to their roles. They are proud to have champions in Oral Health, Equality & Diversity, FREED (First Episode Rapid Early Intervention for Eating Disorders), and Falls Prevention, ensuring residents receive well-rounded care tailored to their needs.
Management are qualified as Train the Trainer in key areas including Moving & Handling, First Aid, and Safeguarding Adults, meaning their high standards of care and safety are consistently maintained and shared throughout the team.
At Clifton House, they focus on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing, while offering compassionate support in a homely setting.

The team are absolutely incredible, super patient, understanding and compassionate. They really take the time to get to know the residents and family and really respect and take on board relatives' views and thoughts. They have really made my sister feel at home, comfortable and safe, she feels she has a safe space to talk about her thoughts feelings and concerns. My sister has come on leaps and bounds and the team have shared my love to see her flourish and grow in her confidence and independence. So many worries have been eased by such a wonderful supportive team. We are so grateful. Thank you for everything!

Since I have been a service user at Clifton House, I have found I have enjoyed living at Clifton House. The staff are nice and polite and the house is clean and tidy. The staff are good at the job and help me.

Clifton House is a fantastic care home; you get made to feel at home when you visit! I have the home page on Facebook, and you get to see how fun the house really is! The service users look really happy and looked after. Would definitely recommend.

We were assured that the staff were trained NVQ level 3 before he started. However they did not state they were trained in Autism or Challenging Behaviour, and in hindsight, they weren't...
At the end of the day, we were let down by them with their inabilty to cope with him, and it resulted in them cancelling his contract with no notice.

I must inform you that all employees at Clifton House all hold a NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, they all hold training in Supporting Adults with Autism, Challenging Behaviours, Learning Disability, Safeguarding and Communication. The staff were able to care for your son however the environment was not suited and it was causing an unsafe environment for your son and others that reside here at Clifton house. If you wish to talk to me in person that is not a problem, please do not hesitate to call me. Again I am sorry if you felt that your son was let down, however I strongly feel that this was not the right environment for him. I hope he has now found a suited placement for him to reside at.
