My husband stayed at Kingsclere Court Care Home for several weeks and received wonderful care throughout his time there. He had also spent a few short respite stays during 2025, and on each occasion we were consistently impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff.
Sadly, my husband has passed away recently. In his final days, the staff and management were absolutely fantastic and showed such kindness and compassion. They went above and beyond in allowing us to stay with him 24 hours a day over the last three days, which meant the world to our family. We're very grateful for the care and dignity they gave him and for the support they gave us."
The home itself is very clean, modern, light and airy and the rooms are lovely. The food is good and well prepared with plenty of choice.

Thank you to everyone who cared for him.

Mum came here for respite just before Xmas, she was in a very distressed and anxious state.
The staff understood exactly what to do to manage Mum and gradually over a few weeks she has transformed into a very good place, the anxiety has melted off her and she is now engaging well with other residents and daily activities.

I can't thank kingsclere staff enough for their professionalism and expertise managing not just my mum but all the other residents. I am here everyday so have been able to assess this personally

My mother-in-law was well cared for, very clean & tidy and very well fed! She really enjoyed the lovely home cooked food. The staff are very welcoming, caring and friendly and were willing to do anything to ensure my mother-in-law was happy. This is the second time we have used Kingsclere for respite, and we look forward to using it again later in the year.

Having found Kingsclere via a brochure, this was the ideal place for my neighbour's respite. Having had two weeks in the home, then went home for 1 week and then she decided this was now going to be her future home as the accommodation, staff and general care was to a very high standard. So now my friend is now part of your establishment.

Kingsclere in Westcliff-on-Sea has only recently opened but is a beautifully decorated and set out home.
