Having little idea of what to expect when visiting a relative who was recently taken into its care, I was immediately struck by Ocean Heights' clean, fresh, contemporary interior. From the reception area to residents' rooms and communal spaces, everything's as bright and polished as a new pin. Hence,
I had no doubt that my relative's contentment and comfort were assured. Accompanying Ocean Heights' delightful interior is its stunning location. The building overlooks a promenade and beach, an area of natural beauty that's a hive of year-round healthy activity. Dog walkers, joggers, strollers and swimmers make a beeline for the area, whatever the weather, meaning Ocean Heights residents can stay connected to the community just by gazing out of a window. The excellence of the care home's offering is completed - most importantly - by its superb staff, each one a model of compassionate professionalism. For visitors and residents alike, Ocean Heights is a five-star experience.

Mum found Ocean Heights fabulous. The location is beautiful, she had a sea-view room. The facilities were amazing. She watched a favourite old movie in the cinema (her and a carer pretending not to cry at the sad bits lol). Specific dietary requirements due to diabetes and digestive issues were discussed
with her (I was there but delighted my mum was addressed directly for all her needs, and her dignity maintained which I found very respectful). During our tour, we were very impressed with the hair salon, spa room and the huge and varied gym equipped for all capabilities as far as I could tell. All staff, management, carers, cooking staff and cleaning staff that I met during my visits were lovely, to me and my mum. I'm sorely tempted to book my room now but hopefully won't need it for a while! Many thanks to all from myself and my mum who read this review before I posted and thoroughly agreed.
