Review from L T (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 11 March 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Since our very first visit to Osprey Court Care Home to view it prior to mother-in-law choosing it as her new home we have been very impressed. Everyone has been so welcoming of us all and the care and kindness shown to mother-in-law is wonderful. She has settled in very well and seems to be thriving with having company, taking part in activities, being cared for in a very dignified manner and also getting medication at the correct time. It's a joy to visit her at Osprey Court.

Jackie McDonaldJob Title:ManagerJoined: 2026

I am delighted to have joined the team at Osprey Court as Home Manager. I am very proud to be a nurse, and I started my nursing career in 1986 in the NHS, moving to the care home sector in 1994. In the last 30+ years, I have gained experience in a wide range of roles, from Home Manager to senior regional and national positions. I’m also a local girl, so it feels especially meaningful to be back working within the community I know and care about.

I am passionate about delivering kind, person-centred care and believe that helping residents enjoy fulfilling, meaningful lives is just as important as providing excellent care. Creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued, respected and truly at home is something I care deeply about.
