Overall Experience
I highly recommend this care home. My dad, who lives with dementia, stayed for a two-week respite, and the experience was excellent.
It's a lovely, small care home that truly feels like a home, especially compared to the more corporate environments we've tried in the past. The staff treated my dad with the utmost care, compassion, kindness, dignity, and respect, and he was extremely well looked after throughout his stay. He was even taken out for daily walks, which made a big difference to his wellbeing.
Every member of staff took the time to get to know him personally and understand his individual needs. The care home manager is very knowledgeable, approachable, and communicative, always available to listen and provide support when needed.

I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a more personal and attentive level of care. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

What can I say - Rosalie have been absolutely amazing from when we first went to look round, to assessing my parents in law who needed to be placed in a care together, to dealing with the hospital where my MIL was - they even have a double room for them.
The staff have been fantastic, sorting out new GP surgery due to change of county, managing anger outbursts due to dementia, being calm and patient, doing activities, and even a little party for Valentine's Day - it really was good to see my in-laws up and dancing, I never thought I would see that again. The communication is excellent.

Thank you just isn't enough to express the relief that we know they are safe and being cared for properly.

My mum stayed for a week in November as it was much needed break on our part. Saying that, when we viewed the venue we felt my mum would be safe there as the staff we're really friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. I believe the building has just undergone a refurbishment so everything is still shiney and new, which means my mum will enjoy the modern facilities provided, plus I know it's kept clean and tidy meaning which should mean any chance of catching something while in there is kept to a minimum.

Highly Recommended as we will be using them again!

My mother-in-law was in Rosalie Care Home for respite care for 2 weeks, myself and her son were extremely pleased with the care she got especially from Anna, all though all the staff we saw were lovely. She had a lovely room looking out to the front, it's much more personnal than some of the other care homes that I've visited and would definitely recommend and if she needs care in the future wouldn't hesitate for her to go back.

This is the first time my Dad and step mum have been apart in 40 years. My dad was very reluctant to put her in respite for 2 weeks. I can honestly say that from the first time we stepped through the door we were treated very well. The home is lovely, clean and new and you can see that staff are trying their best to make it as lovely as possible for the residents.
My Step mum has now been there for a week, my dad can go anytime he wants so has been everyday and he is welcomed by staff.
Thankyou to you all for making a very hard decision easier.
We would definitely recommend this home.

My personal experience from having gone to the launch of Rosalie and meeting and working with staff and clients, this residence is a tight nit community, a small close personal and dignified space for clients and staff to work and live. Somewhere, if and when I need for myself or a family member to live will not hesitate. Compassion, dignity and respect is Rosalie. Client centered with staff who care staff who love what they do and this showed.

Overall Experience
Our family had gone to view Rosalie care home with a view for my father for possible respite. We could see that every attention to detail had been undertaken. The warmth of the staff put our minds at ease so we felt happy for dad to go in.
He had a warm welcome when we went to drop him off. They had given him a beautiful room looking out onto the amazing garden as we had briefed them that dad had been a keen gardener so they had taken that into consideration to give him a room with a perfect view.
The professionalism of the staff was fantastic! They looked at my father's medication asking about the times he was taking them and actually pointing out and advising us that some of the medications would be better given at different times of the day, which having spoken to the pharmacist confirmed that. Their knowledge and experience is spot on.

We are now delighted to have found such a facility that we can confidently hand over our father to knowing he will be looked after to such a high standard.

My dad who has dementia went into the home which at first I was apprehensive , but I knew me & my sister needed a break .They were very professional before the stay getting to know the needs of my father . I popped in during his stay at various times unannounced , each time he was happily engaged with the staff and in good spirits . This made me relaxed seeing my dad so at ease and enjoying the food which looked delicious .They encouraged him to go for a walk and took time to listen even though he might of told them the same story several times . The staff were very compassionate and caring and went above and beyond for his first .I highly recommend this establishment .

The three most important things for me to see in a care home are as follows: that it feels like a home from home, that safety and cleanliness is paramount, and going hand-in-hand with first two, that the staff treat every resident with kindness, courtesy, good manners and dignity.

This is what I have found at Rosalie Care Home. I would absolutely recommend anyone has a look if they or a loved one are thinking of going down this route.
