Set in a purpose built building with an emphasis on health and safety, this unique day care centre offers companionship and a high level of care for those who require it.
The Centre would like everyone to feel relaxed and happy when attending. All birthdays and other days that are significant are celebrated. For those with very few mobility problems, The Garden Room has its own mini bus so people can go on short trips out to local cafes and garden centres.
Care is a small word - but it is a word - that can have a big impact on families. That is where The Garden Room Centre can help - giving the families and people that care a much needed daily break.

- The team are pleased to show anyone around to see what they do at the centre - and explain how they can help families. Caring for a person full time 24/7 is very hard work - they aim to assist by giving the care person some valuable free time. It also helps - knowing that e are fully trained and have had many years experience in care and the aged.

My Mum has been attending this day care facility 3 times a week for a number of years.
Once a week, the staff are able to take people out in their new mini-bus and Mum always comes home happy!
Activities happen during the day and lunch is provided.

Lyn, who is the owner is particularly well respected, very experienced and always lovely is often on site to help in all areas.

It's a nice mix of men and women and we are very grateful to have a space there so that Mum can attend.

Mum truly enjoys the activities and day trips provided, and we've noticed a significant improvement in her relaxation and communication after her visits. The Garden Room has been a true blessing for our family, and it brings us great comfort knowing that Mum is being cared for so wonderfully.

I found in The Garden Room kind, understanding and with staff that were prepared to go out of their way to meet this person's needs.

We have used The Garden Room for almost a year now. My husband goes there for daycare on Mondays and Fridays. The staff are fantastic with him and he seems very happy to go there. I would definitely recommend this facility.

My wife attended for daycare. She had several complex conditions but was welcomed by all the staff who went out of their way to understand her needs and to accommodate them.
The facilities were very good. The garden room being a modern extension to an older building.

My wife attended daycare weekly for approximately 12 months.. Sadly she died in August after some three months in the care home. The daycare in the garden room was excellent, friendly and caring. My wife really enjoyed her visits and was very happy. The staff were always friendly and helpful and very flexible. We were very fortunate to benefit from the whole atmosphere of the garden room.
