The Garden Room Adult Day Care offers high-quality care for adults in the living in the Hereford area set in a dedicated day care environment.

Quiet time and a choice of activities are offered to people giving
their carers a break from their caring routines.

Set in a purpose built building with an emphasis on health and safety, this unique day care centre offers companionship and a high level of care for those who require it.

The Centre would like everyone to feel relaxed and happy when attending. All birthdays and other days that are significant are celebrated. For those with very few mobility problems, The Garden Room has its own mini bus so people can go on short trips out to local cafes and garden centres.

Care is a small word - but it is a word - that can have a big impact on families. That is where The Garden Room Centre can help - giving the families and people that care a much needed daily break.

  • The team are pleased to show anyone around to see what they do at the centre - and explain how they can help families. Caring for a person full time 24/7 is very hard work - they aim to assist by giving the care person some valuable free time. It also helps - knowing that e are fully trained and have had many years experience in care and the aged.

My Mum has been attending this day care facility 3 times a week for a number of years.
Once a week, the staff are able to take people out in their new mini-bus and Mum always comes home happy!
Activities happen during the day and lunch is provided.
Lyn, who is the owner is particularly well respected,
very experienced and always lovely is often on site to help in all areas.
It's a nice mix of men and women and we are very grateful to have a space there so that Mum can attend.

Mum has been attending The Garden Room for 2 1/2 years. The facility is managed exceptionally well, and the staff are not only friendly but also very supportive. Mum truly enjoys the activities and day trips provided, and we've noticed a significant improvement in her relaxation and communication after
her visits. The Garden Room has been a true blessing for our family, and it brings us great comfort knowing that Mum is being cared for so wonderfully.

Dad has been attending for some months, he is having respite from my mother for whom he is primary carer.
Dad really enjoys his day at the at The Garden Room Adult Day Care, he looks forward to catching up with the friends he's made and making new ones, having a chat, going on trips to the garden
centre or out for coffee.
The staff are always very kind and welcoming, a great way to start his day!

Mum has been attending Day Care here for six months. It's her first experience of a care setting, and she loves it. She enjoys all the activities and trips and looks forward to it. The Garden Room Day Center is a very clean and bright environment. The staff are patient and understanding. My husband has Parkinson's and dementia and attended The Garden Room until he went to a nursing home.
All of the staff were so kind to us both and went above and beyond what you would expect.
It
gave me a break I desperately needed.

I am a carer. The person who visited the daycare facilities lived with me. At the time I found the daycare, the person who I cared for was unwell physically and with poor mobility. She had autism, getting into her community was paramount for those needs. All other settings previously used had been unable
to mee her needs. I found in The Garden Room kind, understanding and with staff that were prepared to go out of their way to meet this person's needs.

We have used The Garden Room for almost a year now. My husband goes there for daycare on Mondays and Fridays. The staff are fantastic with him and he seems very happy to go there. I would definitely recommend this facility.

My wife attended for daycare. She had several complex conditions but was welcomed by all the staff who went out of their way to understand her needs and to accommodate them.
The facilities were very good. The garden room being a modern extension to an older building.
It was always clean and fresh.

My wife attended daycare weekly for approximately 12 months.. Sadly she died in August after some three months in the care home. The daycare in the garden room was excellent, friendly and caring. My wife really enjoyed her visits and was very happy. The staff were always friendly and helpful and very
flexible. We were very fortunate to benefit from the whole atmosphere of the garden room.
