When my mum started attending Active Minds in Crosby in August 2023, I wasn't sure how it would go. The staff were incredible from day one. My mum was nervous at first, but when I took her to visit, we were greeted so warmly by the team and attendees, that her hesitation disappeared, and by the time
we left, she couldn't wait to start!
Now, she goes twice a week (sometimes three) and absolutely loves it. They keep her warm, engaged, and well-fed, which means the world to me as her son. Knowing she's thriving in such a supportive environment gives me peace of mind. They handle everything seamlessly, from collecting her in the morning to dropping her home at the end of the day. If you're unsure, I'd highly recommend speaking with the manager and arranging a visit. Seeing it first-hand made all the difference for us and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

My dad has been attending Active Minds for the last 4/5 weeks, and it is amazing and an actual life changer. My dad had a stroke in February, before that, he was very independent, and his life has changed dramatically since it happened.
Active Minds has given him some of his independence back, and I can’t praise the manager and the team enough. There’s a range of activities, and we all attended a garden party a few weeks ago, and it was really good fun for everyone. I know he’s going to be cared for and occupied when he’s there and meeting other people in his age range.

Fantastic day centre, my mum loves going, she has made lots of new friends and the staff are wonderful and it's great to see my mum really enjoying herself. I would highly recommend Active Minds Day Centre.

Active Minds have been a great place, my mum has visited for the last 3 months. Myself and my sister are so happy our mum enjoys it so much, don’t know what we would do without it. Mum has improved lots with her mental health, she is a lot happier meeting new friends at Active Minds. The staff are so
friendly, nothing is a problem for her. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.

Fantastic daycare facility in Crosby. Perfect place for Dad who has Alzheimer's. Run like a social club, the managers are like family. Dad loves it here, such peace of mind for me as his main carer/daughter that he is well looked after and gives me the freedom to get things done.
