Hello, my name is Jason, and I am the founder of You Care & We Care Support Services. With over 14 years of experience in various adult social care settings, my focus has primarily been on supporting individuals with learning disabilities.

Since establishing our services in 2019, we have witnessed gradual but wholly positive growth, emphasising the provision of appropriate support and restoring personal autonomy. My team and I are committed to redefining support for people with diverse abilities, returning control to them to empower their life choices, all while offering proper guidance and support whenever it's needed most

My name is Danny, and I am excited to join You Care & We Care as the Deputy Manager. With many years of experience in the social care setting, I am dedicated to supporting our Managing Director in the day-to-day operations of our organisation. My primary focus is to ensure that both the individuals we support and our team have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

As your point of contact, I am here to provide any additional support you may need and to conduct your support reviews. My goal is to ensure that we continue to meet your needs while also helping you achieve new outcomes and experiences.

I’m the Admin Support for You Care & We Care! My role involves working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. I deal with all the boring (but important!) paperwork, allowing our support staff to focus on delivering excellent care to the people we support.

I also support the team & people we support to build new projects in the arts & crafts world.

I look forward to seeing you around and contributing to our mission together!

I joined You Care & We Care from the very first day we opened our hub. I started as a support worker and have since developed into our ASDA Outcome Lead. I really enjoy helping people achieve their personal outcomes.

I can work on different projects with you or help you build daily life skills, which could, in the long term, assist you in living independently or moving into employment.

I joined You Care & We Care as a support worker after moving from a care home setting. I really enjoyed this role; however, I felt a desire to give more to other care settings.

Since joining You Care & We Care, I have developed my skills and abilities to support people with learning disabilities, and I truly enjoy seeing you smile and laugh.

My name is Gail, and I am thrilled to join You Care & We Care as a Support Worker. I bring many years of experience in supporting individuals with complex learning disabilities. I chose to join this team because I believe in their innovative approach to support, which emphasises genuine care over mere checkbox compliance.

I truly enjoy working with the people we support, as each individual has their own unique character and story. It’s a privilege to be part of their journey and to contribute to their growth and well-being.

Hello everyone! My name’s Leanne, and I’m thrilled to share a bit about my journey with you. I joined You Care & We Care in April 2024, stepping into a role that was both exciting and new. From the very beginning, I felt a strong pull towards supporting others, a calling I had long hoped to follow.

Each day in this role brings a unique experience, and I truly revel in the joy of witnessing the individuals we support blossom into more independent versions of themselves. Whether it’s celebrating a small victory or a significant achievement, each moment fills my heart with happiness. Knowing I play a part in their journey—helping them reach their goals and overcome challenges—is incredibly fulfilling.

Being a support worker isn’t just a job for me; it’s a passion that fills my life with purpose. I’m excited to continue this path and help create more success stories within our community, one smile at a time. Thank you for letting me share my passion!

Hi, I'm Julie. I have over a decade of experience studying and working in Health & Social Care, Children & Young People and Adults in a variety of settings.

I was introduced to You Care & We Care when I was volunteering at Yeovil Hospital. At the hospital, I visit people with Learning Disabilities who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment and advocate for them during consultants/doctors visits to ensure each patient understands the treatment they are agreeing to.

I work part-time, and my role is to educate and advocate for each client to experience and have a full, meaningful life in the community by delivering person-centred care, considering each person's abilities and capabilities, which is in keeping with the company's ethos.
