Good Companions Day Care Centre

Silloth Day Care Centre is a warm and welcoming place designed to bring people together for companionship, activities and enjoyable days out. Conveniently located on Solway Street, opposite the Co-op supermarket, it is easily accessible and at the heart of the local community.

The centre offers a wide range of activities for different interests and abilities, including knit and natter groups, jigsaws, games, arts and crafts, bingo and regular entertainment on the dedicated stage. Pamper sessions provide an opportunity to relax and enjoy a little extra attention.

Freshly prepared, home-cooked meals are served, creating a sociable dining experience where friendships can flourish. There is also a comfortable sports room with a large flat-screen TV, plus generous outdoor space for fresh air, gentle walks, and relaxing outside in warmer weather.

Supported by a dedicated and caring team, the centre is particularly suited to older people, those living alone and anyone who would benefit from greater companionship and a friendly, stimulating environment.

The centre also offers its Share the Care scheme. Individuals introducing an older friend, relative, or neighbour may accompany them, ensuring no one has to attend alone. Subject to the scheme terms, the person introduced may receive up to 10 free Day Centre days, while their companion may also receive up to 10 free accompanying days. Both participants may also receive a £25 Co-op voucher.
