Job Title: Administrator and Finance Assistant

Hello, my name is Amruta, and I serve as the Administrator and Finance Assistant at Grit Care. I am responsible for managing core accounting and financial operations, including payroll processing, payslip generation, detailed bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers using QuickBooks, Excel, and Payroll systems. I play a key role in ensuring accurate financial tracking, budgeting, and audit readiness for the organisation.

In addition to finance, I handle a range of administrative tasks such as maintaining organised and compliant records, managing the office, supporting staff, and coordinating meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.

I hold an MBA in Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce. I am also a UK IFA Level 3 Certified and have earned professional certifications in Sage Accounts, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage Payroll. My core competencies include payroll, budgeting, and audit support.

Since joining Grit Care, I have completed the Care Certificate training program, developed by Skills for Care, NHS England, and Skills for Health. This training covered key care principles such as duty of care, person-centred working, and safeguarding — all highly relevant to my role.

Known for my humble nature, strong work ethic, and dedication to quality, I bring a creative touch to my professional and personal life. I am also a skilled cake baker and look forward to sharing this passion with Grit Care clients who are interested in learning baking skills. I believe baking can offer therapeutic and practical benefits, especially for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

Lastly, my involvement in recruitment support and marketing initiatives makes me a versatile and valuable member of the Grit Care team.
