Gilbert House Extra Care Apartments comprises of 73 affordable apartments – 66 one bedroom and 7 two bedroom apartments.

The apartments have been designed to offer a retirement solution for residents who can live independently but may require elements of personal care and support. Rents and service charge are affordable and housing benefit eligible.

All apartments have their own front door and a Juliet balcony. There is a fully fitted kitchen with an oven and hob and white goods (washing machine and fridge/freezer) are also included.

Gilbert House includes generous community space to support residents’ social activities including wonderful landscaped gardens.
There are also 2 electric car charging points available on a first come first served basis as well as an internal mobility scooter parking room.

The Bistro, an on-site cafe, open to the public provides a space for residents, their guests and visitors to meet and enjoy food or refreshments.
