Responsibilities

  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, tidy, and well-organised.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Support the chef in cooking and baking tasks when required.
  • Wash all the dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure all areas of the home are clean, tidy, and well-maintained to create a comfortable environment for residents and staff.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to meet health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and staff, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Sweep and mop floors and take out the rubbish regularly.

Ideal Candidate

  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Someone with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is a plus, but not essential – we provide full training.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
