Job summary
We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our incredible team at Moors Park House. Moors Park House is a 36 bedroom Care Home with beautiful gardens and an internal courtyard sensory garden.
Our residents have various dietary requirements, so knowledge and experience in cooking for people with special diets is incredibly important.
Kitchen Assistant Duties include:
- Preparing Breakfast, Lunches, Tea & Supper
- Keeping the kitchen & work areas clean and tidy
- Managing stock rotation
- Supporting with food orders
- Interacting with residents to ensure they are eating nutritious and appetising food
- It is advantageous to have training & certificates in Basic Food Hygiene.
- It is advantageous to have previous experience as a Catering Assistant or Kitchen Porter.
