Job summary
The Old Rectory Residential Care Home in Stalbridge, Dorset, is looking for a full- time care assistant to provide quality care to its residents overnight.
This is a temporary maternity cover position.
The Old Rectory, prides itself on the high standard of care provided to its residents. As a member of The Old Rectory team you will receive full training within the home or at our dedicated training centre and will be encouraged to develop your career as a professional Carer.
Brief job description:
- To provide personal care to the residents.
- To carry out assigned care tasks as directed by the Senior/Lead Care Assistant.
- To lend support to, and to take an interest in the residents to help them to live as full and as enjoyable a life as their health permits.
- To help with the running of the home and (when time allows) domestic duties.
- To promote a harmonious, helpful and friendly atmosphere.

Expected hours:
Position is temporary maternity cover. Full-time, days to be discussed at interview.
Shifts are 9.00pm - 7.00am.
Rates of pay:
£12.21 per hour plus and an additional £1.00 per hour enhancement for working at the weekend.
