Part-time Weekend Cook - 12 hours per week (8 am to 2.30 pm)

Lindemann Healthcare is a family-run business which was established in 1995 and has over 30 years of experience caring for older people in Edinburgh. Our dedicated team aims to provide specialised care in a safe, homely atmosphere where the residents are cared for with dignity and respect. This allows each resident to function at their optimum level, where they can feel content and “at home”.

We are seeking a Cook to join our team in Thorburn Manor. Part-time 12hours per week

The post holder is an essential part of the Care Home team, employed to deliver a high standard of nutritious and enticing meals to our residents.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a caring individual who can multitask and have good communication skills. You will be able to prepare seasonal meals for our elderly residents and those with specialist dietary requirements.

Your main goal as a Cook within one of our Homes is to enhance the lives of residents through the provision of high-quality, nutritious food. You will be an experienced Cook, a good leader and work with your Kitchen Assistant to provide a well-run, high-standard kitchen with a great knowledge of how to produce nutritional and appealing meals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential
