The job

The Area Sales Manager must have a positive attitude and a passion for sales and delivering effective service to all customers. The Area Sales Manager position reports to the VP of Sales and is a member of the Signing Day Sports Sales Team. This position will be remote and will be responsible for pre- and post-sales support, building and maintaining customer relationships, organizing and maintaining Salesforce CRM, ability to work closely with club, high school, and collegiate coaches, and providing overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities ? Prospect and qualify new sales leads ? Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects (club, high school, collegiate coaches); both in-person and remotely ? Create, plan, and deliver presentations on Signing Day Sports’ products ? Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects ? Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers ? Meet and/or exceed sales quotas ? Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort ? Works collaboratively with sales team members ? Communicates a clear and thorough understanding of the organization’s products, offerings, and policies ? Keeps clear and meticulous records of customer interactions through Salesforce – the organization’s Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool ? Collaborates with multiple program teams to stay informed of all new and ongoing developments and projects Requirements ? Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in sales ? Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment ? Self-motivated with excellent creative and proactive problem-solving skills ? Incomparable people skills (especially with coaches) with ability to handle difficult situations with poise ? Flexibility in adapting to the growing and changing needs of the organization ? Ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment ? Detail oriented ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Key relationships with sports teams, coaches, athletic directors, and athletic programs within a specific territory ? Willingness to learn about company products and policies to better assist customers ? Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ?
