Review of Rossetti House from Katie B (Daughter of Resident) published on 14 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My mum has been living at Rossetti House for a year now. Everyone has been thoughtful & kind with her from the start, making a constant effort to get to know her as a person & to support her with activities that suit her best, as well as her physical needs. Quality of life is always important at Rossetti House. The place has a lively light & airy feel & smells good. The garden & rooms are generous. The staff make a good well managed team & take pride in their work. It's very hard to place a parent in a home. I felt totally supported in making this transition. Everyone was so kind & understanding with me too. Nothing felt like too much trouble. My mum is sad to be old & needy, to find herself old & 'in care' but she's happy there. She was cared for at home for as long as possible but, although she's no longer in her home, she belongs to a community again & has more going on around her, instead of sitting at home with one lone full time carer, waiting for visitors!

Review of Chichester Grange from Matthew S (Son of Resident) published on 14 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Dad has been a resident for just over 3 months and much has changed for him in that time. Throughout I have found every member of staff whether from management, nursing, care, events or facilities to be fantastic. They have treated Dad with dignity at every step, and been proactive in looking to improve his quality of life. I feel absolutely confident Dad is in the best, safest and most appropriate place.

Review of Rossendale House from Sharon S (Daughter of Resident) published on 13 August 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
My dad had a couple of weeks respite in 2025, and he loved it so much he decided he wanted to move to Rossendale House. He had been struggling at home.

He and the family have never looked back it's been great for him and reassuring for the family that he is cared for. The staff are fantastic, all of them. I'm so glad that Rossendale House was available for my dad. Thank you.

Review of Abbeycrest from R N (Daughter of Resident) published on 13 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Dad moved into Abbeycrest only recently, after a less than satisfactory experience at another home. The professionalism and efficiency of the administrative staff at Abbeycrest from the minute I first contacted them has been outstanding. The fact that I was in another country at the time of the transition did not matter at all. They organised a video call within 24 hours of me contacting them and very quickly put a process in place to help Dad move as soon as possible and answered all my questions professionally, honestly and in detail. The speed at which Dad has settled in and the staff have got to know him is a pleasure to see. It is a big endorsement of the quality of all the staff at Abbeycrest. From being withdrawn and depressed Dad is now taking part in the daily activities and enjoying watching television with the other residents in the lounge. Thank you so much everyone at Abbeycrest, all your efforts to help Dad's move be as easy as possible are greatly appreciated.

I viewed a few homes and this was by far the loveliest.
My Dad was very happy to leave his home with Mum, to come here as it provided calm, quiet and 24/7 care he now needs.

My mother-in-law arrived at Appleby House in June and she has settled in much better than we could ever have imagined. This is due to the wonderful staff and the lovely environment. We are so happy with the care she is receiving and she is much more relaxed and communicative since she has been there. We feel very reassured that she is being very well looked after and so enthusiastically encouraged to take part in stimulating activities. We look forward to going to see her as we also feel very welcomed by the lovely staff. Thank you for all you do.

Review of Armstrong House from Nicola H (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 13 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I am involved in my mother -in-laws life and have been for many years , visiting her very regularly. Following surgery a couple of months ago I have been unable to visit her. Though she has obviously missed me a great deal , the staff could not have been more helpful or attentive to her and my needs. I have spoken to nursing staff and both the manager and assistant manager often and have been kept abreast of how she has coped without my visits though we have obviously spoken on the telephone. I feel the staff have gone the extra mile to support her and make her feel cherished. This is high praise indeed

Overall Experience
My mother is here on long term respite care
The building & facilities are extremly modern & spotlessly clean.
Staffing sometimes is an issue but I realise the difficulty in recruiting.

Overall I am very happy, one niggle is Dementia patient (male) constantly entering room & in a state of undress frightening for my mother, staff are quick to react but does cause upset.

I am over the moon with the care of my mother, the standards are immaculate and there is always something to do for the residents and the staff seem to genuinely care and go the extra mile.

Thank you so much.
