My husband was admitted for end-of-life care in April 2026 and died just over a month later. From pre-admission, all care and communication was professional, dignified, and caring. With very flexible visiting hours, my family and I were able to stagger our visits. The bright and airy lounge was perfect
with snacks and drinks always available.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I spent two weeks here following knee replacement surgery. The care which I received was second to none. Initially, I needed help with dressing and washing due to severe pain. This was done with respect, kindness and humour. The staff were so cheerful, friendly, empathetic and encouraging. They supported
me through every stage of a quite painful recovery process, encouraging me when I felt overwhelmed.
I felt that I was part of a caring family inside a good hotel Nothing was too much trouble. Their pleasure when ai began to walk again was wonderful.
A really holistic approach which enabled me to meet with two other residents known to me.
Thank you Seccombe Court .
Beautiful surroundings. Amazingly clean. Lovely positive atmosphere.

Sue and I visited Janet yesterday and I wanted to thank all the staff at Scarlet House for looking after Mum so well. Jubilee House

from Keith W (Son of Resident) published on 1 July 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Making our way to Jubilee House for dear Mum was not an obvious path when faltering mobility and frailties at age 98 years meant turning to private care. Jubilee's manager was to meet Mum in hospital following a severe head injury from falling while in early residential care elsewhere. He and Care UK
stepped in to return Mum into nursing care when others locally declined to accept falling hazard.
Mum's clear ongoing recovery had been a certain testament to the warmth and exemplary level of care by the Jubilee team returning strength and confidence when she was at the lowest ebb. Mum seemed to awaken to find company, creativity and fun!
Conveniently situated in the heart of Godalming with adequate car parking, Jubilee House is a modern, purpose-built and compact development receiving continual innovative enhancements such as the recent garden decking area in which to spread out during functions and celebrations. Standing out is the warm and resourcefulness of nursing and carer teams.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We cannot speak highly enough of Amberley Lodge and the wonderful care our husband and father has received over the past eight years.
Throughout his time at the home, we have been consistently impressed by the high standard of care provided by every member of staff. The team are compassionate, professional,
and genuinely committed to residents' wellbeing, treating them with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Whenever there have been medical concerns, staff have acted quickly to ensure he receives the attention he needs. Communication with the family is excellent, and we are always kept informed and updated, which gives us great peace of mind.
The food is another highlight, and special occasions are always celebrated beautifully. The chef regularly goes above and beyond, with the birthday cakes being particularly memorable.
We are grateful for the care, dedication, and support shown to our loved one over the years and would not hesitate to recommend Amberley Lodge to other families.

Winchcombe Place is a wonderful place! The staff go out of their way to ensure that the residents are happy and well cared for; nothing is too much trouble. We used Winchombe Place for respite care, and the whole process from booking to the end of the stay was fantastic! I'd recommend them to anybody.

Magna

My mother was taken to Magna Care Centre in a private ambulance all the way from Kent. They settled her in at 7pm in the evening after 3 very stressful weeks in hospital. All the staff worked together as a team and supported each other as well as the residents and their visitors. My mum was made very
comfortable. She was very very ill and the carers and staff helped her to be comfortable and relaxed as far as possible and prepared me for her death which came after 7 short days. Without their understanding and information she would not have seen her grandchildren in those last days and that was worth a huge amount to our family. The home has a real buzz to it and I would recommend it to anyone.

I visited Lonsdale recently to see Mam and was again amazed with the quality of the facility and the professionalism of the staff.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, safe, and genuinely caring. The staff go above and beyond to treat residents with dignity, patience and compassion.
The
facility is spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed to support the highest level of independence possible. Also, the security of the facility is very strong while remaining unobtrusive.
Activities are engaging, meals are excellent, and communication with families is outstanding.
It's clear that every team member is dedicated to providing exceptional care. I couldn't be more grateful for the support and peace of mind this wonderful community provides.
In summery, Lonsdale truly is a "Home-from-Home".

Harcourt Gardens

My mum has been very well cared for at Harcourt Gardens Care Home. Not only have her medical needs been attended to in detail but they've facilitated her general wellbeing and quality of life.
I have been delighted with the prompt and efficient liaison the senior carers initiate with the NHS.
The
staff are kind, caring and helpful. They speak to my mum with respect and dignity as well as fun. Without exception, whenever I have asked a member of staff for help with an issue, they have worked towards resolving it appropriately. I am delighted that Care UK have appointed strong leadership which is also enabling the existing talented staff to shine.
My mum has been encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities - some of which she has never tried before but now enjoys! She enjoys her meals! Laundry is returned efficiently and any rare missing items are sorted quickly.
I am grateful to whole team who support my mum on a daily basis.
