Mum has lived at Blossomfield Grange for three-and-a-half years now.
The facilities are constantly being refreshed and modernised to a consistently high spec. More than that the whole staffing group and management work as a team, responsive to concerns and very attentive. From everyone pulling together
to ensure mum's 95th birthday celebration was as wonderful as it could be, to working closely with the family re mum's GP visits, the team ensure a home from home environment tailored to mum's needs.

Just like to say what a wonderful home
We recently visited for the first time as my auntie shiela came to you ,
But unfortunately she was only with you a few days as she passed away
The care she received was absolutely amazing, from all staff who work at the home .
We were greeted at reception
from then on nothing was to much trouble
Just want to say a big thank you to all the staff

Mum lived at Blossomfield Grange for seven years, until she recently passed away peacefully in her lovely room at the home. Having spent so many happy visits with mum with coffee, cake, music, chats, celebrations and getting to know all the wonderful carers, it was humbling to experience 'end of life'
care - which is going on unnoticed and 'behind the scenes'. Mum was looked after with such tender care and genuine compassion in her final days, and I can't fault how everyone across all areas of the home also cared for me at that difficult time. I was very happy to provide a glowing review last year, and wanted to post another one now with a different perspective, in case it helps other relatives thinking of care for a loved one nearing the end of their journey.
Reply from Jo Hopkins, Reviews Team at Blossomfield GrangeHi Clare Thank you so much for your beautiful review, especially at this difficult time for you. Your mum was very special to us and we are grateful for the seven wonderful years that we got to spend with her, and her family of course. Thank you for sharing your experience, it really does mean a lot to us to receive such heartfelt positive feedback. Sending our warmest wishes, The Team at Blossomfield Grange.

My mother has been at Foxland Grange for a number of years. Whilst it is expensive the facilities and the care is first class. I always enjoy coming to the home and meeting Oskana and her wonderful staff. They have a difficult job but always smiling and keen to talk about my mother. It is great comfort
knowing that my Mother is in such capable hands,
Reply from Jazz Lalli, Reviews Team at Foxland GrangeThank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased the care mum has received is first class within the reminiscence neighbourhood. Thank you for the feedback regarding Oksana and the reminiscence team, they work incredibly hard.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and treated the patients with care and respect however on my last visit in the evening there were limited staff on the floor and some of the patients were quite agitated and approaching my siblings and myself for support
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Edgbaston ManorThank you for taking the time to complete this review regarding Edgbaston Manor. We are always grateful for any feedback as it is imperative for us to enable reflection and positive change.
We are pleased to hear that you found the staff to be friendly and welcoming.
We are sorry to read of your concerns. Due to the nature of this suite and the level of dependency, sometimes staff can be assisting other residents at the time of your visit. Please be assured that the unit is always fully staffed and there is no change in staffing levels throughout the day. As we are sure you are able to understand, at times, residents can display certain actions and may approach you. We sincerely apologise if you and your siblings were distressed by this and we will reflect on your experience to review how best we manage this.
If you would like to discuss this further, please contact the Home Manager.

The first time I visited my auntie at Bishops Manor, I was very impressed with everything I saw and thought what a lovely environment it was, and how caring the staff were. Today I attended a 90th birthday celebration that the home had organised for her, and I cannot praise them enough for the way they
made sure she enjoyed her special day. Family and friends were made to feel very welcome and were treated to a lovely buffet and birthday cake with the table beautifully decorated with bunting, banners and balloons. Many thanks to all.

I cannot praise enough the staff and management at Bishops Manor. My Aunt became a resident 12 months ago. The staff & management go above and beyond to ensure the residents are settled and happy in a safe environment. Everyday there are different activities for the residents; who are encouraged to
join in.
If I feel I have a worry or problem, regarding my aunt I know I can approach the staff and management, who always reassure me, regarding my Aunts well being.
I would always recommend Bishops Manor to everyone.

My cousin has been residing here for 15 mths The . Bishops Manor is a lovely care home, I knew a friend living there so I took my cousin to look round.
The residents are looked after very well, three good meals a day and snacks & drinks when required.
Lovely warm rooms and great activities daily.
Lots of fun, music & games and quizzes to keep them as alert as they can. I would reccomend Bishops Manor to anyone.

I am extremely happy with Bishops Manor and the way they care for Mum.
Every person who works there offers care in a very special way.
Mum arrived there very frail. Their patience, kindness, care and attention has bought her back to where she is today.
Trusting she is in such good hands has lifted
a huge weight off my shoulders and eased the stress my family felt trying to care for her.
They have an app on which they regularly upload pictures of Mum and other residents engaging in activities and enjoying themselves. It's lovely to see her smiling so much. Her smiles were few and far between before she arrived at Bishops Manor and had been replaced with extreme anxiety. Her anxiety has now completely disappeared.
The carers always communicate promptly and clearly. If mum is unwell we are informed, We always know exactly what's happening, which gives us such peace of mind. It's a relief to know she's safe and well cared for.
I couldn't ask for a better place for her to be

My grandma has been a resident at Bishops Manor for several years now. After having a stroke and losing her husband, she went from living mostly independently to needing support, and over time her vascular dementia has unfortunately made it impossible for her to look after herself.
When it was time
for our family to find her a care home, we wanted a place that not only had good, clean rooms and living conditions, but most importantly offered excellent care. We are so happy to say that the carers at Bishops Manor have been wonderful. They are all kind, gentle, and most importantly patient - something that makes a huge difference for my grandma and her dementia.
We love the wide range of activities offered to her most days. My grandma especially enjoys the singalongs and craft sessions. We are so grateful for the care, warmth, and happiness that Bishops Manor provides. We worry less knowing our grandma is comfortable, safe, and loved.

Mum has been living happily in Foxland Grange for a number of years. Her care is carefully organised to meet her needs and provided by a care team who are respectful, friendly, well trained and aim for high standards.
I find that communication is very good and includes regular care need reviews for
Mum and excellent two way communication with me.
The home atmosphere is welcoming and the environment clean and well maintained. The food is good with plenty of choice. There is an extensive range of activities for residents and frequent celebrations of events which this month have included World Book Day, Mother's Day & St Patricks Day relatives are always encouraged to join in.
I am particularly impressed with the connections Foxland Grange has with the wider community ranging from community choirs and local primary schools to care services such as the GP team, Chiropody and a support company.
Reply from Jazz Lalli, Reviews Team at Foxland GrangeHello and thank you so much for taking the time to review us. Over 3 years ago, my parents (both in their 90s) moved into a suite in Foxland Grange. Their care has been outstanding ever since, with carers treating them as they would their own families. As my mother's needs became more complex, the nursing staff were able to provide all that she needed, and she
was treated with dignity, respect and most importantly, love in her final weeks. My father has now moved to a spacious single suite, and has been looked after with great care by carers, senior staff and the management team, both during the day and overnight. Thank you!
