Good staff - friendly - kind.

I just want to thank Bal (receptionist & carer) for always being professional compassionate & caring which extends to me as the daughter of a resident. Cedrick the chef is so dedicated & makes my mothers textured meals look appetising. Just a lovely addition to the team. Troy for ensuring my mothers room is clean & safe. Always professional Shazia - always kind & caring to mum. Finally its lovely to see Jenna back from maternity leave.

She really does need that encouragement and would often prefer to stay in bed. When I visited she was alert, content + very chatty.

Must be scary if you are vulnerable . Its very basic care.

All facilities are excellent, building is kept to an exemplary standard. Resident entertainment is amazing. Food/meals are such a high standard.

If you want somewhere that looks beautiful and is well maintained this may be the place for you. I visit people in lots of private and council homes and sadly I would have to say that although there are some people who care a lot and try to do their best to cover the gaps in resources and staffing, it is certainly not what I would want for my relatives or friends. Care is haphazard and uncoordinated and the carers will tell you that they are not able to help anyone make best choices even if they have no capacity. No bed rails, walking or other mobility aids, doors that can be locked from the inside even if a resident does not understand the dangers, not enough staff to help with feeding or other needs. Apparently these are Care UK policies. There is a daily programme of activities maximum 2 hours per day and residents can go to the dining room on each floor for meals. Apart from that they are largely on their own. I hope mine was an isolated experience and that yours will be better.

My sister has settled happily in the care home. She and I find all the staff friendly and helpful. The food is very good too. Even in the very hot weather her room has been pleasantly cool. Visitors are made very welcome.

Met some very nice staff,had a sit down in reception with a coffee for a chat with my pal. We then proceeded to the rooftop terrace. Overall, it was a pleasant experience considering the circumstances.

We are definitely thinking of Mercia Grange for Mum when the time comes. Thank you again xx

My family and I would like to thank all the team at blossomfield grange for making our family meal to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday such a special one! We had a really happy day! Thank you to everyone for their kindness and attention to detail that made the day a real home from home celebration!

Wow wow wow- amazing care home- 100%quality- from reception (Bal) to all staff - nothing is to much for all of them, met many staff ie danayell chloe- all good over and above their duty, would recommend this care facility to anyone, Amazing.

The facilities are constantly being refreshed and modernised to a consistently high spec. More than that the whole staffing group and management work as a team, responsive to concerns and very attentive. From everyone pulling together to ensure mum's 95th birthday celebration was as wonderful as it could be, to working closely with the family re mum's GP visits, the team ensure a home from home environment tailored to mum's needs.

Lovely care home. All the staff are attentive and very friendly and know all the residents by name and what their needs and likes are. The surroundings are very cosy and pleasant. I would highly recommend it

Mum lived at Blossomfield Grange for seven years, until she recently passed away peacefully in her lovely room at the home. Having spent so many happy visits with mum with coffee, cake, music, chats, celebrations and getting to know all the wonderful carers, it was humbling to experience 'end of life' care - which is going on unnoticed and 'behind the scenes'. Mum was looked after with such tender care and genuine compassion in her final days, and I can't fault how everyone across all areas of the home also cared for me at that difficult time. I was very happy to provide a glowing review last year, and wanted to post another one now with a different perspective, in case it helps other relatives thinking of care for a loved one nearing the end of their journey.

My mother has been at Foxland Grange for a number of years. Whilst it is expensive the facilities and the care is first class. I always enjoy coming to the home and meeting Oskana and her wonderful staff. They have a difficult job but always smiling and keen to talk about my mother. It is great comfort knowing that my Mother is in such capable hands,
