Having had a fall and a long spell in Hospital, my uncle was transferred to Snowdrop House. Although he was only there for a short time before he passed away, our family could not fault the care and respect each and everyone of the staff showed him. They also did the same for us in the family and kept
us informed of his condition whenever necessary. Our grateful thanks go to all of them.

During Dad's 10 months in Riverside, he was looked after with the greatest care and attention. The staff were kind and caring, always treating Dad with respect and following his wishes. Any concerns about his health were addressed promptly, and as a family we were always kept informed. The staff were
always welcoming and friendly to family and visitors.

I took Mum to the home today because I felt she really needed the chance be around others & enjoy some company. From the moment we arrived, we were met with such kindness & compassion from the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, including the residents, Mum was made to feel comfortable & at ease straight
away. Seeing her settled, chatting, & happy, & knowing that I could leave her in such safe & caring hands, was incredibly reassuring.
When I returned, Mum was sitting with a drink & was in wonderful spirits. She told me she had had a lovely few hours doing chair physio, chatting with others, & enjoying the warm & friendly atmosphere. She even stayed for lunch, which said so much about how relaxed, comfortable, & cared for she felt. Seeing her so content was incredibly comforting. Mum will definitely be going again, & she is already looking forward to the other events she can attend. I am so grateful to the staff for the kindness, warmth, & genuine care they showed Mum. Thank you Care UK.

I have nothing but praise for Snowdrop House. The environment from the moment you walk in is bright and extremely welcoming. It feels warm and caring and the residents wellbeing is absolutely at the core of what they do.
It's a lovely modern purpose built home and I felt the weight of the world lift
from my shoulder when there
I can honestly say that every single person who works at Snowdrop GENUINELY care. They are all so friendly, polite, courteous and respectful and cannot do enough for the residents and their families.
I will always be extremely grateful that my dear mum got to experience this level of care when she absolutely needed it the most.
I was told by a wonderful nurse "once you come to Snowdrop - you join a family. Whatever your loved one would ask of the their own family members, they can ask us - they are part of our family now" I said this to my mum and it really reframed the whole image of her care for her.
Words will never express our gratitude to them.

We had just a very short stay here at Snowdrop. I could not have been happier with the care, respect and kindness shown to my mum. We were offered 2 homes and these were just no comparison this way by far the cleanest, brightest, and most appealing home. We were welcomed by a lovely caring lady. Asking
lots of questions about mum, she truly was interested. Unlike the other home that couldn't get us round and out quick enough! The room we were shown was bright and beautifully decorated, with outstanding ensuite. Mum passed away within a week, but it was a week my sister and I truly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My husband stayed for respite care. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. His medication was administered at the correct times. He enjoyed taking part in the activities and in particular the drive out in the minibus. He made some good friends and enjoyed his chats. His room was
spotlessly clean and spacious. He was quite emotional when I picked him up and had lots of hugs and kisses saying goodbye. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Reply from Paula Brown, Reviews Team at KnebworthThank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear that your husband enjoyed his respite stay with us and that he felt so welcomed and cared for by our team.
It's lovely to know that he enjoyed the activities, especially the minibus outing, and had the opportunity to make new friends and share good conversations. We’re also pleased that you found his room clean and comfortable and that his medication was managed as expected.
Hearing that he was emotional when saying goodbye truly means a great deal to us and reflects the genuine connections he made during his stay. Your kind recommendation is greatly appreciated and will be shared with the whole team, who work hard to provide compassionate, person-centred care every day.
We look forward to welcoming your husband back whenever you need us.

Mum passed away peacefully at the care home after spending 3 years being cared for by all management and staff. Mum was very happy there and any worries she had were addressed swiftly. As a family we would have no hesitation in recommending Knebworth Care Home to other families looking for care for

Care is of a high standard. The carers are helpful, pleasant and welcoming. The activities programme is inclusive, stimulating and varied. The home is always clean with a regular laundry service.
The menu is varied and caters for all tastes. Orders off the menu are always accommodated. There are regular
drinks available. All the staff are hard working and flexible with good teamwork and listening skills and any queries are resolved. The home is secure. The rooms are attractive and comfortable. Some rooms have a view of the garden.

I am over the moon with all aspects of care and facilities at snowdrop. My mother is extremely happy here and the care is second to none. There is always an abundance of staff who are all welcoming and helpful and so good with the residents. My mother is well kept, with lots of activities for her to
join in. There is always something going on and the social media page is great to see all the amazing things they do.
The rooms are spacious, everywhere is extremely clean and there is a lovely coffee area as well as a fabulous wrap around garden.
My mind has been put at rest knowing my mum is at snowdrop and getting care of the highest standard.

My Mum was admitted here for end of life care at short notice. The admission team worked fast to get her in on the same day with good communication. Her time in the care home was brief but the care and dignity that she was shown was of a very high standard. All the staff showed so much compassion towards
mum, myself and our family at a very difficult time. It helped us tremendously and I cant thank them enough.
Knebworth care home is very clean, tidy and welcoming. The room mum was in had an ensuite, was of a good size and peaceful. The standard here is excellent in all areas and I would highly recommend
