When I recently visited as soon as I went in, I was greeted by the receptionist who was very helpful and friendly. I waited for my friend to arrive in the coffee shop where I noticed other residents engaging with eachother and fun activities. The staff were all lovely and I was made to feel very welcome.
What a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Have nothing but praise for this care home. Mom moved in this year and we felt supported the whole journey from looking around to settling in. As soon as you walk in the door you are met with friendly faces and a real sense of belonging. The care has been excellent and it's allowed family to not worry
about mom. There is attention to detail from getting to know someone, learning their likes and dislikes, communicating with the team any needs and all in a clean and beautiful environment. Family/friends/visitors are made to feel as welcome as any resident. Staff are approachable and supportive. It's not been an easy change however it's been so reassuring that it was the right decision to have chosen Perry Manor. I advise anyone to go and look around, ask questions and see for yourself. Staff love what they do and take pride in what they do.

I find the staff (including management) all to be extremely friendly, whilst at the same time professional in their approach. The activities are excellent, varied and fun to participate in. The building is kept in an excellent, clean manner. The food is also of a very high standard, however on occasion
the main meals can lack variety ie Chinese/curry at the same time with no choice on meat and two veg. However sandwiches are available on request at any time which helps.
Reply from Samantha Debenham, Reviews Team at Chandler CourtThank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback regarding Chandler Court. We are delighted to hear your kind comments about the staff, management, activities programme, cleanliness, and the food quality. Your kind recognition is very much appreciated by the whole team.
We also value your feedback regarding menu variety at mealtimes. Providing enjoyable and nutritious meals is very important to us, and we understand that choice plays a key role in the residents' satisfaction. Please be assured your comments have been shared with our catering team and are being used to review menu planning, particularly around offering greater variety and clearer options at main meals.
We are pleased that alternative options, such as sandwiches, are available on request, and we will continue to look for ways to improve choice while meeting dietary needs and preferences.
Thank you again for your thoughtful review and for helping us continue to improve our service.

I think that Dulcie first moved into Chandler Court towards the end of 2024.
When my wife and I saw her last week, she looked better than at any time in the past 3 years. She was her old self. This is all down to the care that she receives at Chandler Court.

We are very pleased with the care my mum is receiving in Brook Court .
She has been treated with compassion and empathy since arriving ,after a very difficult time spent in hospital .
The staff always treat her as an individual, they have been kind and supportive to help her adjust to living within
a care setting. Every staff member we have encountered from the reception team, the care staff, nurses, administration team, domiciliary team ,catering and management are always kind and courteous and reactive to any concerns or issues that we raise.
There is always a choice of food available to accommodate dietary requirements, as well as snacks and fruit . The cafe is a great place to meet up with others.
Mum is encouraged to participate in the social activities taking place , of which there are many. There are also 1:1 sessions if she is not able to participate in the group activities.
Thank you all for making a very distressing time more bearable and for looking after mum so well
Reply from Carina Harris, Reviews Team at Brook CourtThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and heartfelt review. We are truly delighted to hear that your mum has settled well at Brook Court, especially after what must have been a very difficult period in hospital.
Our team works hard to ensure every resident is treated with compassion, dignity, and as an individual, so it means a great deal to know this has been your family’s experience. We’re pleased that all departments have contributed positively to your mum’s journey and have been responsive to any concerns you’ve raised.
Thank you again for your kind words. Your trust means everything to us, and we’re honoured to be part of your mum’s care. We will make sure your feedback is shared with the whole team—they will be thrilled to know the difference they’re making.

Mum spent her last few weeks here before sadly passed away just before Christmas. Throughout her stay the staff were fantastic with her, incredibly caring and attentive throughout. When the end came, the staff excelled themselves, helping to ease the trauma of the experience and we really appreciated
that. I would have no hesitation in recommending this as a fantastic place in which to entrust the care of a loved one.

My sister-in-law has been in Perry Manor since 2022. The home is amazing and the teams standards are very high. You can have a beautiful but without an amazing team giving great care and they do. The bluebell line manager is approachable and nothing is too much trouble. If I was ever to be put in a

Since our initial visit at the end of November to my sister moving to Brook Court a few days ago, our impression has been that. we have made the right choice; she seems very content, safe and well looked after. The home is most impressive, her room is lovely and the staff are both kind and attentive.
Meals appear to be of a very high standard, offered either in rooms or in pleasant dining rooms. Visitors are extremely welcome outside .meal times and are bound to be impressed by the facilities and helpful staff. Everything has been truly "five star", although we have yet to experience the full range of activities offered. We fully recommend

Mom and I are both very satisfied with the level of care she is receiving at Brook court.
Mom has resided there for 5 weeks now, and tells me she has not left a bite of food, the meals are of exceptional quality and she is thoroughly enjoying them.
Mom is enjoying attending all the activities, and
has made new friends. After 6 years housebound and living alone for the last 4 this is wonderful for her.
Brook court staff are friendly, professional, and supportive.
Mom and I are looking forward to the summer months when we can fully appreciate the beautiful landscaped gardens and the opportunity to sit outside on her patio area.
Overall an extremely positive experience and we are both very happy with Moms care and quality of life at Brook court.

Brook Court is the perfect homely setting for my Mum living with dementia. The newly decorated coffee shop area is welcoming and an ideal place to sit during a visit. The team of housekeepers do an amazing job keeping all areas thoroughly clean and tidy. Fantastic kitchen staff vary menus and there
is always a choice at mealtimes. Care staff know residents so so well and tailor care to meet their individual needs. They are warm and kind and very approachable. They always listen to any ideas and input from us as a family.
Activities are optional, but families are welcomed to take part too. A plan for the week is on the notice board so we can be involved.
On days that i can't visit her, i love that i can see what my Mum has or hasn't been up to by using an app to read and view comments and photos. We can also send in photos and messages.
Activities can be crafts and artwork, entertainers and minibus outings.
We feel so lucky as a family to have found Brook Court.

Perry Manor is an exceptional care home. My dad has lived there since August, initially for respite but now full-time, as we are no longer able to meet his care needs at home. The wonderful management and staff on the nursing level helped us navigate what was a very difficult time for my family and
we can't thank them enough. Perry Manor is now a home from home for all of my family. It is a lovely, caring environment for my dad to live in, all of the staff are fabulous, the food and cafe are wonderful. We are always greeted with a smile and that means so much.

Perry Manor is an exception Care Home. The staff are very friendly and approachable. They always have a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble.
The standard of cleanliness is also exceptional. The housekeeping team do a brilliant job at keeping everything sparkling clean in the residents
rooms, the communal areas and bathroom facilities throughout the home.
The food is exceptional with a wonderful choice of hot and cold dishes 3 times a day. The residents also have a choice of refreshments during the morning and afternoon. There is also a wonderful cafe for residents and relatives to use which has a selection of delicious home made cakes and a selection of coffees and teas to be had throughout the day all free of charge.
The Lifestyles Team put on a wonderful range of entertainment, games and trips suitable for all the residents needs. They also have 2 cinemas and a hairdressing salon.
Perry Manor is a fantastic care home and I would hesitate in recommending it.
